Just like 9/11 had nothing to do with religion.
Muslims, Jews, and Christians share the same God.None of your examples deal with any type of religion.

When you do something in the name of what ever god then it does have a lot to do with religion.

And your point would be? oh and no they d not serve the same God. Christian and Jew Maybe but not muslim. They all three might serve a one figure God but they are not the same.
But your point does not negate the fact that 9/11 was done in the name of religion.

Not Islam.
The view of Islam by radical extremists.
Perhaps... but claiming Islam has nothing to do with this is laughable.
What I said is blaming 9/11 on Islam is as stoopid as blaming Smith and Wesson for nutjobs killing co-workers. But no worries soggy......

Seriously?!
Pearl harbor: the only thing Japan asked was to keep their emperor, a living DEITY to the Japanese people.
Oklahoma City? It was government actions against Christian groups McVeigh (arguable, but only by sectarian standards) railed against.
The Uni bomber had an ideology, not sure it was religious more than a faulty historical one, but it was a set mindset against technology.

The Branch Davidian was a cult, and David Koresh thought he was the son of god. Why would a non christian want revenage for what happened to a non Christian cult?Oklahoma City? It was government actions against Christian groups McVeigh (arguable, but only by sectarian standards) railed against.

Sharia Law?? Really? In a nation with a secular constitution, do YOU really think this is a possibility?
The same "libruls" that oppose Christian influence on our nations laws would lay down and die before Islam? You can't really think that, can you?
Even most atheists grew up with some Jewish or Christian background. Many practicing Christians and Jewish people support the separation of church and state. If they rejected what they know completely where it comes to policy, what makes you think they'd accept some state sanctioned group mentality they aren't even as familiar with? It doesn't even make sense, does it?
Islam is the bogeyman in the US, when and / or where MESSICANS (BOO!) aren't.
Wouldn't it be more instructive to learn who profits from the construction of these bogeymen?
Who divides?
Who conquers?
Or more to the point, WHAT divides, conquers, and profits?
Its only one extra step...just ONE.

While it may have been claimed to be in the name of religion, 9/11 and the Crusades were both actually done for the benefit of someone crafty enough to convince a bunch of idiots that they were doing God's bidding. In the end, both were done in pursuit of power for some person.
Bin Laden in not a Muslim purist, he's using religion as a means to acquire power. He got all butthurt when King Fahd wouldn't let him lead the defense of Saudi Arabia alone. While this is a gross oversimplification, the current war against the US is an attempt by Bin Laden to show that he can beat us. At that point he then (in his view, IMO) will have credibility to take over Saudi Arabia and install the first modern Caliph (leader and uniter of all Muslims).
It's a power play, that's all. Islam in the areas where Bin Laden and his associates attain recruits is more cultural than religious.
