I just gave my 3 week notice to my current job, that I started in May of last year.
August 10 I start with a job making 15k/yr more with all the benefits I can carry (present job has zero).
Considering that I have about 400 more rep points than last year, I'd say...rep doesn't really have much bearing at all.
I'm in my own home after renting for 15 years. That's better. Moved to better town too. It used to be a 15 mile round trip to the liquor store, now it's down the street.
