How do you define somebody who is British?​

• Must be predominately of English, Scottish Welsh (and possibly Irish) heritage
  
  
• As long you are born and raised here it doesn't matter where your ancestry comes from

For me First option. Celto-Germanic white person of Irish, Scottish, Welsh, English, Cornish etc. origins going back to the bellbeakers, anglo-saxons, celts, some vikings norse, normans etc. but someone going back to cheddar man.

I see the Brits as folks with a dry sense of humour, a high sense of decency even while they are often naughty about things. and a sense of global history that compares better to to ancient Rome than any other. More than any other nation or empire, they brought the world from the grip of savagery to the brink of civilized behaviour. Their current queen is the worlds best grandmother,
