House Republicans need empty chair

How disappointing. Republicans have gotten a reputation over time of being unserious when it comes to governing. People say they don't have any real ideas and that they don't even embrace reality (like REAL numbers and factually based policies) anymore. The consensus among many people is that Republicans are all about trying to tear things down instead of building things up. What I want to know is this: Is this all Republicans have left? Silly symbolic stunts?

The GOP governors rule all the poverty stricken red states. That's something to be proud of?
