House Proposes STOP to EV Mandates

Yeah...that likely will change as the mandates become a reality. Then the lines will be really long. EVs do not have the range a ICE vehicle does. The 1,000 mile day for team driving is gone....

For commute traffic they aren't horrible. There are golf cart communities all over the USA that do exactly that with nothing more than marine batteries. Of course they aren't exactly going fast either.

But the annual "Trip to Grandmother's house" is now cancled....because it will take too long to stop, find a charger, charge the vehicle and get back to driving twice over 2 days time. Instead of gassing once for a 6hr trip.
Do you fuckups still drive a Model T?

I did.

Fact. In our lifetime there will always be ICE vehicles. You getting spazzed out over empty political rhetoric is nothing more than you being gullible to empty heads.
Ummm....
The change of only electric vehicles being available to purchase new is soon going to be a reality....unless congress or another president stops the laws that are currently in place.

That's not political rhetoric. That's reality.

And the commercial vehicles are going to suffer the most...especially owner/operators. (Large carriers will just finance and charge everyone more for freight) Despite global peak petroleum use is going to be somewhere out to 2080 or beyond. (If the current laws are left alone and are held to)

Waste of time on both ends. The numbers will are impossible and the numbers are impossible so why waste the time?
Because if they don't the GOP will be accused of being a do nothing House when they have a majority however slim. They're all in a damned if they do and damned if they don't situation because so little understand how our government actually works or how something becomes law.
