Holy Crap! Mike Huckabee sounds like a Democrat

He says the Republican Party is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wall Street and Corporations.

You thinking this makes someone sound "Democrat" is exactly why I say that the 2-party system, and the left/right bullshit arguing that comes with it, is a paradigm.

Division is what killed this country.

The Republican Party doesn't HAVE to be hijacked by corporate USA if American voters don't want it to be. If Republicans vote Romney, or Fred, or Rudy into office, than that means that the Republican voters in this country WANT the party to be the corporate party.

There are some who will vote R if they took up the nazi platform.
They would vote for anything the party said out of name loyalty.

They think its like being a football fan and that to be a good fan you support the team even when they do everything wrong.

I can't think of anything more un-American than that.

And there are some that will still vote Democrat even if they took up a Communist platform.

You keep blaming things on the Republicans when, if you look at the issue correctly, you'd see it's the fault of the two party system as a whole.

You need to realize that the Democrats are just as much to blame for this kind of thinking as the Republicans are.

Then abandon the Dems and Reps and vote Green, Reform or Libertarian!!

""OH WAIT!!--those guys can't win!! So I am going to vote Dem/Rep!!""

...............And the cycle repeats!! Has anyone ever thought that the inability of a third party winning is more based on propaganda than actuality?

Its based on numbers.

What needs to happen is people need to hold their politicans accountable.

You watch and see , the dems will hold Obama accountable.

The Rs failed to do so. This is why they dems have a harder chance of getting elected. The base holds them responsible. The R base backs them no matter what. Oh yeah and the cheating in elections Rs do has a big impact too.

Both parties are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Wall Street.

In fact, they're pretty much just different wings of the Business Party. One wing is somewhat more reactionary than the other, but it's a really narrow scope we're talking about here. Considering the words and actions of Obama and his transition, as well as the Democratic congress, it's hard to see how anyone can say the Democrats are any less corporate friendly than Republicans.

The truth.

The Republicrats are two sides to the same coin.

the humor section is elsewhere on the page.

Yeah cause supportng businesses is so damn evil.

And Huckabee is a Democrat-lite. Always has been. But maybe someday he will find conservatism.

No, actually she just accurately described to you why 98% of Black America votes (D). I thought it was cool.

No it's not evil. It's only evil when it means supporting some specific business or industry at the expense of the rest of us...like it almost always is nowadays.

And it's not just the Republicans who do it, although they have been the most arrogant about it.

But it's perfectly alright to target certain businesses for the benefit of getting reelected and extorting other companies for protection.

And republicans better get used to losing a lot of elections, if they don't start standing up for working people, against corporate interests and corporate fat cats.

YouTube - Mike Huckabee Sounding like a Democrat on Hardball

ROFL... The hysterical thing here is that Americans ARE 'corporate interests'... there is no distinction between 'corporate interests' and the interests of any single American. Corporations are owned and operated by Americans, they serve American interests and that they're a legal entity distinct from that of an individual is irrelevant.

All such language as that of the OP represents is cliche based anti-Capitalism which is representative of good old fashioned communism... expressed in this case by your neighborhood fascist.

yeah, but if you don't think about who actually owns corporations, you can dehumanize them into demons

and that wouldn't be politically expedient
