Hobby Lobby may close all of its stores

So let me get this straight. Hobby Lobby will shutter the business rather than comply with the Affordable Healthcare Act. Because they say the Act violates Biblical teachings. Even though the Bible is SILENT on abortion, these Theology students at Hobby Lobby claim Biblical principles are at stake.

This warp zeal is on exhibition around the world. It's the same logic used by the Taliban.

Did you read the article? Its about freedom from the govt telling us how to live and what to believe.

Its about a company standing behind its principles and beliefs--------something you libtards do not even comprehend. you have become mindless sheep to your messiah the great maobama. you are a pathetic bunch of losers. you make me sick.

No, it's about not being overtaken by the chaos of every individual demanding to be a government unto himself.

It is the rightful role of government in this country to regulate business. If one cannot accept the laws of the land that have been established to regulate business,

then one should consider not running a business, or moving to someplace where one can run one's business as one pleases.

All rights are, by definition, individual rights. It can be no other way. Do you think some people are more equal than others, is that it?

How do you twist your mind around the Orwellian doublethink you so happily spout?

It's downright scary to watch.

That's crazy. To give up a successful business over some religious nonsense.

It's a publicity stunt. The Hobby Lobby CEO obviously knows that the rightwing cult is a goldmine for those who pander to it.

Nah, True Christians like them dont play (see Kirk Cameron) His family is rich he will shut it down if it goes against his beliefs and for the posters that say good. Well it is more of breaking down America morals/values and to the land of Sodom and Gomorrah.

what the heck are you still discussing?
the case is being decided by COURTS and so far the court is siding with Hobby Lobby as the HHS mandate is unconstitutional.

Never ceases to amaze me. Commies DESPISE ANYTHING Christian. Literally, the DESPISE it and go bat-s$it crazy over it.

They SCREAM at the tops of their pussy lungs about "separation of church and state" - although it is nowhere in the Constitution.

Yet, until this video went viral, these communist c$ck suckers had THIS up in the town elementary school for the kids to be indoctrinated with:

Five Pillars of Islam Display Removed From Elementary School After Viral Photo Resulted in Nationwide Backlash | TheBlaze.com

And yet, these same communist pussies on ths board think that Hobby Lobby (who does NOTHING to promote religion but does not want to be forced to pay for something they do NOT believe in) SHOULD be forced by law.

You liberal, communists are worthless gutter trash.

If there's money to be made in that line, some enterprising and perhaps more rational individual will step in to fill the void.

Exactly -- these rubes will buy anything.

Again you dont know know god fearing christians like I do. he willl shut it down.

Anyone who "fears" God is not a real "Christian" -- well, unless they're still in third grade and believe in Santa Clause and Lucifer -- adults who "fear" god lack emotional maturity and critical thinking skills... and shop at Hobby Lobby apparently.

But most real Christian know the stories in the bible teach us an ideal, a moral code of compassion and love. The archaic rules and customs of the old testament written 4000 years ago are meant to be taken with a grain a salt and an understanding of historical context.

I want the Jewish deli down the street to serve me a ham sandwich.

Make 'em do it, mommy.

You're an idiot. This is not about what a business chooses to sell. This is about a business complying with the law.

Imposing your religious beliefs on others, while demanding special treatment under the law, is not religious freedom.

You'd have a point if, in fact, that's what they are doing.

Unfortunately, it is not.

If anything, government lackeys are imposing amoral, unconstitutional, secular restrictions an a private business.

We have a secular government. If you want a theocracy, amend the Constitution.

Or move to Saudi Arabia.

Yea we know Car but this is going against a CEO against his beliefs... how can you force by law your morality against other bussiness owners? We are not talking about a bartender in a bar that has to deal with smoking customers. what is next? some guy that wants to take a sheep in your place of bussiness and have coitus with it in front of everyone? all he is saying he dont want to pay for his employees to kill their babys.

He could sell it to more enlightened people, of course. No one is forcing him to do business at all.

And if the self-appointed Hobby Lobby Sex Policeman did shut down his kitschy business, another business would take its place, providing the goods and services that Hobby Lobby did until their owner got all butthurt about not being able to lord it over their female staffs sex lives.

I say call his bluff. Shut down Hobby Lobby. Good Riddance.

More american jobs, and an american company destroyed by Obama and his marxist policies.

Personally, I don't agree in the least bit with the gov't forcing businesses to provide contraception. I think businesses aught to, but that's their choice - not mine.

However, I'd consider it a touch irresponsible for him to sacrifice everything over not complying. He literally has thousands of families relying on him for a paycheck.

Again, not his fault for the situation at hand (which I believe is shitty and an overreach of gov't power), but it would be his fault for throwing the business away over a matter of stubborn principle.

Just my two cents.

Not sure why any company has to provide viagra or birth control to its employees.

Try, try to understand what the separation of church and state means.

Our secular government absolutely may not interfere in matters of faith.

Look it up.
