Here's How We END Mueller's Folly...

None of the pleas or indictments had anything to do with allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, which was the only reason a special counsel was appointed and after more than two years of investigations into allegations of collusion have not produced a single piece of evidence of collusion, it is time for the special counsel to resign and turn the remaining investigations back to the Justice Department and FBI.

If your claim that Mueller is withholding evidence for political purposes is true, he should be fired and indicted for malfeasance.

May 17, 2017 - WASHINGTON — The Justice Department appointed Robert S. Mueller III, a former F.B.I. director, as special counsel on Wednesday to oversee the investigation into ties between President Trump's campaign and Russian officials,

Mueller has been at it only 10 months. It may just seem a lot longer because of all the indictments and convictions.
Mueller took over the investigation that had been run by Comey and McCabe after Comey was fired, so the investigation is over two years old and after more than two years not a simgle piece of evidence has been found to give credence to the false allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. It is a very strange investigation in the first place since collusion, itself, is not a crime, so why was it being investigated by the Justice Department unless it was for political purposes?

The investigation has been going on for over two years, first under Comey and McCabe and then under Mueller and so far we have not seen a single piece of evidence of any collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. The only reason for a special counsel was the false allegation of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government meant a possible conflict of interests existed, but now that we know there never was any collusion - which would not have been a crime, anyway - there is no reason for a special counsel.

Only an idiot would be claiming there are grounds for obstruction of justice in firing Comey or there would be such grounds if Trump fired Mueller. An intelligent person, would recognize that if evidence of collusion had been found, while it would have been politically damaging to Trump, it would not have been a crime, so Comey had no business investigating it unless it was for purely political purposes, which would be a crime, and an intelligent person would recognize that there are no solutions to the conflicts in Syria or in eastern Europe without good faith negotiations between the US and Russia and this phoney investigation into unfounded collusion investigations make such negotiations politically impossible, and would conclude however obsessed you are with getting Trump at any price, firing Comey corrected the injustice of the FBI investigating actions that were not crimes and firing Mueller, if he does, would simply be returning the investigation to the Justice Department where it belongs.
Trump said on TV he fired comey to end the investigation. He cannot legally do that if his motivation was to hide a crime or other impeachable actions.
Since over two years of investigations, first by Comey and then by Mueller has failed to find any evidence of such a crime or impeachable action, there is not basis for concluding there was any obstruction of justice. A more likely explanation is that Trump understood that there was no possibility of solving the conflict in Syria or eastern Europe without constructive engagement with Russia and the nonsense Comey was promoting about collusion was making such negotiations politically impossible.

Whitewater went on for 4 years- and Republicans had no problem with the fact that in the course of 4 years the Special Counsel never found any evidence of a crime related to Whitewater by the Clintons.

Meanwhile- Mueller continues his investigation- and the President is busy trying to avoid having to testify.

You seem very, very anxious for Mueller to be taken off of this case- what do worry he is going to find?
You seem very much afraid of the investigation being turned back to the Justice Department. Is it because you believe Mueller is a political shill?

The investigation is with the Justice Department right now.

Under Robert Mueller- who was appointed to do this job by the Republican controlled Justice Department- and whose confirmation was applauded by the Republicans at the time of his appointment.
No, Mueller is not subject to the same kind of accountability as a Justice Department prosecutor would be.

The show's over Dum dum, and it's time for Mueller to find the integrity to acknowledge there's nothing left to find and go home.

You keep saying that.

You sure do want to keep Mueller from finishing his investigation.

What are you so convinced he will find?
We both know he will find nothing that will relate to the sole purpose of the appointment of a special counsel, false allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, and we both know you only want the investigation to continue for political reasons, so stop asking dumb questions.

And by 'we both know' you mean that you presume you know.

I want the investigation to continue because I honestly want Mueller to conclude his investigation and I hope that his final report will conclude that there was no illegal activity between Russia and the Trump campaign- IF Mueller finishes his investigation and issues that report- I will accept it- as will most Americans.

If Trump fires Mueller- that cloud will forever hang over his Presidency.
I know it doesn't come naturally to you, but try to be honest and admit the only reason you want the Mueller investigation to continue rather than to turn it back to the Justice Department is because the fact of the investigation of collusion by a special counsel give some credence to false allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, and if it were handled by prosecutor in the Justice Department it would not draw so many headlines.

Mueller is a prosecutor in the employ of the Justice Department.

I know it doesn't come naturally to you, but try to be honest and admit that the only reason you want the Mueller investigation to stop is because you are actually convinced that Mueller is going to find evidence of illegal and immoral activity by the Trump campaign.
Mueller is not a prosecutor in the employ of the Justice Department; he is a special counsel and as such he is not held to the same standars of accountability as a Justice Department prosecutor. The only reason you are so afraid of the investigation being turned over to the Justice Department is that it will not produce as many headlines without Mueller promoting rumors of collusion for which he has no evidence.

Sessions recused himself over his role in the Trump campaign, right? He hadn't done a single thing to warrant it but took the advice of "career lawyers" at the DOJ. Now we know what kind of lawyers those were/are. So what's the solution? He UNrecuses himself and fires the horse-faced turd. And what is his unrecusal based on you ask?....the fact that Rosenstein hasn't recused himself and obviously has a YUUUGE conflict of interest because he signed the order to fire Comey! He's not entitled to hire a special counsel to investigate something he did. Sessions can unrecuse himself as long as there is a change in circumstances....the campaign is long over and Rosenstein should have bowed out, not brought in Mueller who also should have declined because of his run-ins with Trump in the past. President Trump has a country to run and this ridiculous and clearly illegal distraction needs to end NOW.

Why does Trump want to end the investigation?

What is trump afraid of them finding out?

Because it's continued fodder for the irrational haters. Let's put it this way. Even if you are completely innocent, having a prosecutor with nearly unlimited power and resources deliberately trying to construct a case against you is a nightmare.
Tell that to all the other presidents that had to endure it...

If he has not committed a crime, he should not be so obsessed with this investigation, he should applaud it and be happy we are having it...it is a very important investigation....

And he is the one that is making this investigation last longer due to his continual attempted obstruction of it.

He hasn't obstructed anything Meuller has tried to do.

He hasn't told anyone because he hasn't got anything.

There you go. Since you think Mueller spent a year digging and has nothing, then if I were you, I would just cool my jets and watch the show.
The show's over Dum dum, and it's time for Mueller to find the integrity to acknowledge there's nothing left to find and go home.

To-date he has found 5 guilty plea's, and another 87 Federal Grand Jury indictments and criminal charges. Mueller has done this in less than one year. It took 2 years 7 months of investigations before Nixon was forced to resign.

You might want to scroll back to page 15 post # 151 on this thread to see where all these indictments are coming from--:auiqs.jpg:

Because that was the stated excuse for starting it.

Folly, in this particular case of a Special Counsel case (note the correct spelling, Donald, or Dennis, or whatever other names you regularly use), would be defined by NO indictments and NO guilty pleas. Is that the case here?

fake news. you are being groomed to believe that.

Just working with the material at hand. An awful lot of haters seem to think Mueller's job is to put Trump in jail, and will be nearly suicidal if he doesn't come up with anything.

I think they are mostly interested in keeping the "investigation" in the headlines for propaganda purposes.

Whatever Mueller may have done in the past, now that we know there is no evidence of any collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government - which would not have been a crime if it had existed - there is no reason for a special counsel to continue and the remaining investigations should be turned back to the Justice Department. Why are you so opposed to the FBI and Justice Department taking over the investigations?

The "no evidence" and "no collusion" schtick?

PLEASE abandon it - You, I and everyone else knows little to N-O-T-H-I-N-G

Trump keeps acting like this investigation is only about collusion, WHY?
Because that was the reason stated for the appointment of a special counsel. The authorization tells Mueller to investigate possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government and crimes - collusion itself is not a crime, so why would the Justice Department investigate it - he discovers along the way. Since Mueller clearly has not been able to find a single piece of evidence of collusion, there is no reason for a special counsel, and any further investigations should be carried out by the Justice Department and the FBI, both of which are subject to higher standards of accountability than a special counsel. Itis clear that the only purpose of the special counsel at this time to have an ongoing investigation to fuel rumors of collusion that never existed.

It is clear that you desperately want Mueller to end his investigation.

You presume you know what Mueller has- and has not found- because you need to believe that Mueller is not acting professionally- despite his long and distinguished career as a FBI agent and prosecutor.

you don't know what there is evidence of. Mueller has been very closed-mouthed. I know that trumploons want to pretend that there is no reason at all to investigate Donald.

but they were great with years of investigations of the Clintons for nothing.

If after more than two years of investigations, first by Comey and McCabe and then by Mueller after Comey was fired, they cannot produce a single piece of evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government then we must either conclude that there is no evidence or that Mueller is incompetent and send him home. I understand that you have no interest in the facts and only want the Mueller investigation to continue because it generates headlines suggesting there may be something to the false allegations of collusion.

but that just means you want it to end for political reasons.... and could care less about getting to the truth....? Mueller is not ''going after Trump'' as many on the left and right claim.... he is going after the facts and truth...

Mueller and team has not leaked a thing....what the press has delivered to us are news they've gathered through their own investigations and through those testifying before the Mueller investigators that have chosen to tell the press about their own questioning.

When Mueller finishes his Russia investigation and comes out and says there ''was no collusion'' between Trump and the Russians....are you actually going to continue to complain about and continue to disparage Robert Mueller?

Not at all, I want to see the Mueller investigation turned back to the Justice Department where it belongs in order to redress an injustice. The only reason for a special prosecutor was the allegation of collusion between the Trump campaign so as long as the special counsel is there, it gives credence to the allegations of collusion despite the fact that over two years of investigations, first by Comey and McCabe and then by Mueller, have not produced a single piece of evidence to support these allegations. There is no purpose served by the Mueller investigation that could not be served equally well with a Justice Department prosecutor at the helm, and the only purpose served by keeping Mueller is to generate headlines that support false allegations of collusion.

Why are you opposed to allowing a Justice Department prosecutor handle the investigation?
