More than half of the jobs 'created' under Biden were people returning to jobs they had under Trump but were sidelined due to COVID. More than 25% of the jobs 'created' under Biden are government jobs and most of the rest are in healthcare or low paying, uncertain jobs in the hospitality industry.
The left and its surrogate media love to say that Trump LOST jobs in his four years but they rarely include that the job loss was entirely due to people not being allowed to work due to COVID in 2020. In the first three years, the new jobs were most full time, sustainable good jobs with benefits.
Intellectual honesty is not something you find in much of the media these days or among those desperately trying to prove that Democrats are better than Republicans.

You claim that deaths dropped under Biden, Joey but what you conveniently don't mention is that more people died of Covid under the Biden Administration than under the Trump Administration! So how did President Potato Head handle Covid any better than Trump did? Think about it. Covid was most dangerous to people with pre existing conditions like obesity or some type of breathing problem. Those were the ones that were dying under Trump...the most vulnerable of the population. So explain why the numbers went UP under Biden! He had the vaccines. He had the ventilators.Sweden is a relatively isolated country of about 10 million. Probably not a good example.
A better example would be Japan, which went into a total lockdown, canceled the Olympics, and strictly enforced social distancing. (It helped that mask-wearing was already popular in Japan, and they don't hug or shake hands when greeting; they do that whole bowing thing.) With a larger elderly population and high population density, Covid should have decimated them. But instead, total Covid Fatalities in Japan were about 50,000, compared to over a million for the US.

A whole bunch of parents who could apparently afford to buy their kids expensive instruments. Then we went to the Red Lobster. Apparently, a lot of people going out for expensive food that day. Finally, Walmart. Crowded parking lot of people filling their carts with stuff.

Excellent find. "The truth gets in the way of finding common ground!" Common ground is the glue that holds the left together. All must agree on vague and poorly defined but high sounding terms like 'Woke', DEI, women's right to her own body and such while seeking absolute power to exclude, silence, and if necessary persecute/prosecute any who do not share that 'common ground.' Truth, effect, consequences do not matter. All that matters is that 'common ground' and everybody agreeing on whatever and however dishonest propaganda they can use to achieve absolute power. You see a lot of gas lighting/Alinsky doctrine included in all that.
That Katherine Maher, the new President of NPR is opening preaching that leftist doctrine however she makes it sound 'reasonable' is galling because all of us are required to pitch in to fund that and we have no way to opt if we pay federal taxes.
When I was in journalism school the core principle for all journalists was to get the Who, what, where, when, why and how as absolutely accurately as we could and keep our personal opinions, convictions, ideology out of it. And woe the reporter who violated that principle. I even took a mail in journalism course with the NYT back in the 1980's and at that time they were demanding that principle.
And now we have Katherine Maher of NPR teaching that the actual truth doesn't matter but only that they find common ground? It is appalling.
And it is the absolutely number one reason that so few know the truth of the disastrous effect that Bidenomics is having and/or how badly it is failing. Too much of the MSM in the interest of 'common ground' refuses to report it.
And I don't know whether it is because so many folks here at USMB believe a corrupt and dishonest MSM or whether they share Maher's concept of 'common ground' as being more important than truth that causes them to insult, disagree, mark as 'fake news' anybody or anything that disagrees with them.
