To check with the experts at Prairie Home Companion would these be "Dark Lutherans" or "Light Lutherans"?No Lutheran. Point is I would not step in satans house. The local Baptist Church?I have NO intention of stepping into satans house.
I make it a point to ignore the Biblical "scholarship" of non-believers.You already have stepped into satan's house but are too dumb to realize it.No Lutheran. Point is I would not step in satans house. The local Baptist Church?
Revelation 2:9 "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."
The word “synagogue” is based on the Greek word sunagoge (assembly or church). The “synagogue of Satan” is an assembly or church comprised of people who “say they are Jews, and are not.” In this context, the usage of the term “Jews” is in a spiritual connotation. As the apostle Paul stated, in Romans 2:29, “…he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter…”

I guess you could but it would be very disrespectful.Anyone is welcomed to visit a Mosque here in America.
Yes, you should dress somewhat conservatively.
Basically the same as if you entering a Church or Synagouge.
No, a visiting woman does not have to cover her hair.
But if you did bring a scarf to wear it would be seen as a sign of respect.
Can I walk in with shorts, flip flops and a wife-beater?
I would never dress like that if I was going to visit a Catholic Church.
Funny but complete bull. The Lutherans I go to Church with along with myself believe in the whole Bible. When you pick and choose what parts of the Bible you believe in you miss out on the true meaning. For example, homosexuals that believe they are Christians do not believe in the whole Bible, if they did they would know that homosexuality is a sin and detestable to God. Read Leviticus and Romans. To check with the experts at Prairie Home Companion would these be "Dark Lutherans" or "Light Lutherans"?No Lutheran. Dark Lutherans believe in things like occasional old testament seriousness appropriately away from the holidays and canning. Light Lutherans believe in things like Ice Cream Socials and sticking to the lighter sections of the new testament.
I did my basic at Lackland also. Since then I do not like TexasI visited a few mosques in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia on deployment, and I visited the one at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas during my basic training.

Imagine what they think of you.
If you wear mixed fabrics, eat pork or shellfish then you don't believe in the "whole bible" either.Funny but complete bull. If you understood the Bible you would know that is a lie.If you wear mixed fabrics, eat pork or shellfish then you don't believe in the "whole bible" either.Funny but complete bull. I am neither. My Church belongs to the AFLC, Association of Free Lutheran Churches. The Association doesn't dictate to us how we conduct our service or how we worship. We hold the Bible as the true word of God.That was a joke, son. I keep pitching em, and you keep missin' 'em.Funny but complete bull. It was a comedy skit.

BTW, I'm a recovering Lutheran and find such statements very true to some synods and churches. You look at the Wisconsin Synod and they're very much typified by the "Dark Lutheran" joke. On the other hand, the ELCA Lutheran Churches are all light and fluffy by comparison and therefore "Light Lutherans".

I don't have to explain anything, I don't pick and choose. As far as eating certain things or wearing certain things, Jesus changed everything. He said what was once bad in the old testament to eat was now clean. When you understand you will see the truth.Maybe you can explain how you pick and choose. If you understood the Bible you would know that is a lie.If you wear mixed fabrics, eat pork or shellfish then you don't believe in the "whole bible" either.
I am taking Mini EZ to one today. She has to visit a place of religion different from her own for her Religious Studies Class.
We were going to go to the Buddhist Temple in Bloomington, but it's over an hour drive and we just don't have the time today. So she said she wanted to go to a Mosque. There is one a few miles from our house.
Just wondered if anyone else has gone to one to visit.
