Greed is Good. Ending Net Neutrality Will Give us All a Better Product

And greed is exactly the reason you aren't going to get what you want because it looks beautiful on paper but that isn't how it works out.
You really enjoy the fruits of greed though don’t you?

I enjoy the fruits of a mixed market economy which is what is in the US.
True...so now...what part of government produced your computer, television furniture, clothes on your back...? I say government controls drive up prices. Wage and price controls worked well for Carter huh?

Now, do you understand why those people in Central and South America keep trying to come to the US? Because that's where your beloved free market is implemented. Now it's full circle.

oh noes, that's not the free market............that's greed. It's beautiful on paper but never works out like planned.
So computer technology driven by World War II and Cold War. Then in the 1980’s and 1990’s became based on consumerism...people like me and you. You can invest in Latin America...but politically not very stable. High risk.

It was driven by the desire to lessen the time to complete the census. It's not stable due to the implementation of the free market. Like Africa. Free market looks beautiful on paper but doesn't work out. Just like communism.

You do realize that Net Neutrality was not only there to protect consumers but to protect competition, right? Because now the ISPs can strangle any business that doesn't pay them enough, or make it so that only their content creators see play. That is the opposite of a free market; it is a market completely dominated by a few giants that have no incentive to innovate.

pshaw, Shaw, that's not important. What's important is pretending it's really all about "greed" and maintaining the idealistic nature of the free market theory.
That’s what is all about. Example...when you crybaby leftist march to protest this...you will all drop by Starbucks for a café latte and help support the free market. Previous to this you will have gone to a hardware store and bought spray paint and cardboard for your signs. Hey, could I remind you all that the Hobby Lobby sells spray paint and cardboard too? After the rally you can all drop by Chick-fil-a for late lunch.

I didn't say that.

Actually one of the best investments that brought about a lot was Reagan's Star Wars. What he wanted was shot out but so much money was thrown at it that major developments in technology were made.

Free market advances liberty and freedom for the people.

No. It does not. It's an economic system. Not some emotional feel good bs. The fall out from the implementation of the free market indicates it has nothing to do with liberty and freedom for the people.

You are free to go as far as your talent can take you. It keeps government out of the way of economic steam engine rolling down the tracks. You cannot have a free market without freedom for the people. They go hand in hand.

Free market capitalism people strive for success.

Socialism: people strive for mediocrity.

The funding was good but the original goal was unattainable. Trying to equate a mixed market economy with Hitler is reaching to say the least. Again, you need to examine where the free market has been implemented and the consequences.

Take note, when the economy booms presidents take credit and when it crashes they play dumb as hell. For example, much of the banking deregulation that led to the recent economic crisis came under Clinton. Clinton cried out that the Republican's made him do it.

On this you are correct. Now, sources of credit...that’s a whole different ball game. Goldman Sachs are way too influential in our economy. Those big banks should have been allowed to fail...but here comes the government again, messing with the free market.

I'm telling you that the free market looks beautiful on paper but never pans out the way it is intended. This leads to free market advocates crying out but........but........but......just like the communists do.

Free market ? We are talking about monopolies and duopolies. The enemy of competition.

Looks good on paper? Looks good when I look around my country everyday and am thankful I served and stood against communist during Cold War. So what is your solution? Some hippie commune?
