It’s just basic economic theory and has been put to practice. Greed is good. Look at all the good things it has given us...better standard of living...cures for diseases....advances in technology.

When you have a competitive environment then that is true. However there is not a competitive environment in internet service providers. Wide swaths of this country have only 1 internet service provider. When AT&T was a monopoly there was little innovation. When you have a monopoly then the government needs to regulate the industry.
