I want people so upset with having to serve they must be drafted and then get out as quickly as they can.

If a person desires to be in power, he should be refused it, for he is already on the path to being corrupted by it.

When a person espouses stealing from another through government for the collective good, he should be looked at like he has smallpox, for philosophically, he is diseased.

Government is the personification of force. It is only to be used to keep a balance in society as that it functions well and solves disputes peaceably, protects us from foreign and domestic threats, facilitates free trade internally and preserves and protects us with treaties abroad that do not violate our nationality.

The federal government is never to be a charity...
a business...
a jobs program...
or an agent of social welfare.

On the other hand the states are given broad and undefined powers that may do what they will as long as they do not violate our federal rights. In this framework of TRUE federalism, you can have your state run universal healthcare and suffer the consequences to it. You may not be able to take guns away, nor abridge the freedom of speech, religion or assembly, but you can take away the right to drive and force everyone to ride light rail and buses everywhere. You can even ban private computers if you are so mad to do so. That is the beauty of true Federalism.

You socialists just don't get it. You bear no resemblance to the liberalism that founded this nation. Read the founding fathers in the context they were written. Quit trying to twist their words to justify the perverted desires of your corrupt politics.

And of course, if this is unacceptable to you. Please. Find a new home in a new nation that loves the way you think, and leave the rest of us in peace here. You've done enough harm as is. Go pester someone else you admire.

The best we can grade the GOP is a "D" minus, IMO.

The Republican Party is in the minority because THEY spit in the face of their voting, volunteering and donating base, the conservative base.

There was ALOT more the Minority Leader Mitch (bail-out the banks) McConnell could have done, for starters he could have had some intestinal fortitude (that's guts for our liberal friends) and spoke out much more vigoriously.

If the GOP doesn't pull it's head out of the sand soon, I suspect their numbers to decrease while Independents and the Constitution Party gains House and Senate seats. The bad thing is that the Democrats most likely will retain control, but not the power.
