Grading the Republican Party for the year.

Democrats will vote against a bad Democrat.

P-BO's election proves that ain't true.

What about Carter?

Gore should have won just based on the job he and Clinton did.

Bush should have lost in 2004 but you guys voted him back into office? He lied us into a war and you voted him back into office.

You probably liked and voted for daddy bush also? Actually, he was the best of all of them.

Reagan had elzheimers desease and you guys voted him back for a second term. Plus Iran Contra.
Carter was a reaction to the populace being sick of the game as was played under Nixon and then Ford did little if anything to change it. We wanted an outsider and got someone WAAAAAAYYYY Out Dere!

Gore lost because of Clinton. Why? Monica and his close association to Gore. Also, Gore was an uninspiring candidate as compared to Bush. Unfortunately, that's not saying much. If you really want, Blame Nader. I voted for him just to fuck with the libs and there was no valid conservative on the ballot. I didn't like W till after 9/11 and he did a stand up job dealing with the crisis. He won his secod term thanks to Kerry being a total numnuts. But then he fucked up his second term... just like Truman did.

I've never voted for JW Bush, nor would I have. Nor Dole. You don't know anything about me, so quit projecting.

As for Reagan having Alzheimers in office? That's just plain mendacious bullshit and you know it.

PS. Democrats will vote against a bad Democrat. But that isn't fair when Republicans never vote against their bad leaders. NEVER! There needs to be a scandal for conservative Americans to vote out one of their guys. Bush, Reagan, Nixon.

Pure unadulerated BS.

A true Democrat will never vote against a Democrat just as a true Republican will never vote against a Republican.

There are very few if any admitted Democrats on this site who would admit to voting honestly against a Democrat for anything much above dog catcher.

And if you were honest, you would admit that a hell of a lot of Republicans/conservatives have abandoned the Republican Party since the first days of George Bush because of his incompetence. You would never see such a thing from the Democrats.

To state that Republicans will only vote for Republicans and Democrats will vote for the best candidate is either stupid or dishonest.

Immie

"To state that Republicans will only vote for Republicans and Democrats will vote for the best candidate is either stupid or dishonest."

Or both.

Think about it. If a liberal/do nothing/can't keep us safe/bankrupting the country/lied us into 2 wars/socialist won a second election, you may have a case.

But only Republicans are that loyal, or stupid.

Carter was smeared/set up by the Bush run CIA and GOP. He actually wasn't that bad. It was the Iran hostage and then Contra affair that cost him a second term.

Gore should have won. He was a part of 8 great years. Voters are not loyal to the Dems.

Bush 1 lost because he raised taxes. He did the right thing. It helped Clinton balance his budget. So the rich didn't support him. It was time for a changing of the guard and Bush 1 wasn't a rock star, Clinton was.

Obama is a rock star. His healthcare plan is going to help 30 million americans. And since it doesn't take affect until 2014, we have time to fix it. No thanks to the GOP, we got er done.

Democrats do the hard work that needs to be done, which is never as popular as cutting taxes. Imagine pushing such great legislation thru as healthcare reform, social security. equal rights and medicare.

All Dem programs, all popular and all fought by the GOP.

That was the GOP's plan on how to take down Gore, true.

Bush was inspiring? No. When times are good, people get complacent, cocky and arrogant. They thought, "oh, what harm could bush possibly do, his daddy will teach him".

Little did we know the PNAC branch of the GOP was way more aggressive and sinister than the old GOP. Bush and Chaney make me miss Newt and daddy Bush. They were at least decent men.

Did you just say Bush did a stand up job dealing with 9-11? There's that ignorant voter thing I was talking about.

Reagan did have alzheimers in office. He was a complete puppet his last years in office. You could tell in rhetrospect. We just thought he was getting old at the time.

Man you guys are brainwashed.

This from a P-BO worshiper. mmkay.

Whatever that is. But if you are referring to Obama, yes, I am a fan of his. He's doing a great job.

If you had the balls to say Bush was or Bush did a good job, you have no right to an opinion as far as I'm concerned, because you forgave much too much.

Now it is our turn to lead. You are the minority party so deal with it. But please stop being such a debbie downer. The economy will get better faster if you stop it. Just go out and spend your money.

Sorry for comming in late on this one, Republicans in Congress C- for at least making an effort, Republicans in the Senate D- and as one poster suggested it would have been lower but the efforts in the healthcare reform debate raise it some. Michael Steele at the RNC F for constantly appearing as if the Republican party has no idea what it's doing. Republican Govs. B plus for making a stand on behalf of their states.

Look at our diverse list of great candidates we had for President.

Your party ran 8 guys all clones of each other, accept Ron Paul, and they banned him from debating, remember? Man you guys are brainwashed.

We also understand the good players in our party and the bad ones. And sure, we'd rather Lieberman caucus with us and not against us, but don't forget that Liberman is bad because he's voting with THE REPUBLICANS!

But it is true, I wouldn't vote for a Republican. Not any of the ones you guys have leading you now anyways. But I liked Reagan. I wasn't a Democrat back then. I didn't realize what a scum sucker he was to labor back then. And I liked Bush 1 too.

I wasn't born a liberal. The GOP lost my vote.

Tom Delay, Newt, Bob Barr, Ken Starr, Boehner, Craig, Foley, Rudy, etc. All greedy selfish rich white hypocrit old men.

When I talk about "voters" voting for the right candidate, I mean the independents and undecideds. The people who tip each election. They don't seem to be as forgiving when its a bad Democrat as they are to a bad GOP.

McCain shouldn't have even been in the race. He shouldn't have won any states. But those RED states sure do stay loyal. How bad do things have to get before those red states turn blue?

Michigan can easily go Red. Its just that the majority of voters in Michigan understand who fucked up this economy. Its obvious.

Pssst! I don't have a party.

As for McCain, I would have voted Obama before I would vote McCain. In fact, I would have had to have thought very hard about voting for McCain if he ran against Osama bin Ladin. There are also a hell of a lot of conservatives that felt like I did in the last election thanks to George W. Bush. That in itself, may very well be why we have President Obama.

That's highly assumptive and incredibly unscrupulous.

Oh lord. Take it up with the conspiracy forum. I won't even bother guessing what Gore would have done, but I do remember 4 years of whineing from the former Clinton Admin on how that should have been Slick Willie's chance to shine. Opportunistic posers one and all.

riiiiight... and how's the New York Times bailout attempt going? Any more papers go out of business lately? Why is it they have less circulation than Glenn Beck's News Letter?

Oh well, I hear the Saturday Evening Post and Grit still exist in some form. They may still find some level in which to survive with their dying niche audience of aging hippies yearning for the days of yor.

Gore would not have invaded Iraq. Bush 1 knew better and I suspect Bush 2 did too. Which is great because they are all about war for profit. The longer it takes, the more they make.

And IF Gore would have ignored those warnings like BUSH ignored them and IF Gore would have been hit on 9-11, he would not have let Bin Ladin go in the Tora Bora mountains because he would not have needed a boogie man to help scare us into Iraq with fears of mushroom clouds.

You want to play what if's? What if Bush wasn't president. Imagine how much better things would be today. Imagine if Tom Delay was never caught up in corruption charges. He'd still be in the House causing damage to our Democracy.

Socialize the losses and privatize the profits bankrupted the USA. But if we try to socialize the profits, you call it socialism.

You are stupid. Seriously. But that's just a theory. And not a conspiracy.

How else would he know Glen Beck has a newsletter? I didn't know. He must be on the RNC email list and everything.

Maybe he even subscribes to Rush's website. He actually had to register in order to buy a tea bagger shirt.

Gore would not have invaded Iraq.
And people would still be being dropped head first into plastic shredders. The Kurds would still be trying to not be exterminated. This is an improvement how?
Our mistake was insisting we rebuild their nation on our dime.

And IF Gore would have ignored those warnings like BUSH ignored them and IF Gore would have been hit on 9-11, he would not have let Bin Ladin go in the Tora Bora mountains because he would not have needed a boogie man to help scare us into Iraq with fears of mushroom clouds.

Why should we believe he would have done anything more like his friend and former boss Slick Willie and blow up an aspirin family or an abandoned camp and send letters of condemnation. No, he wouldn't have let Osama go into the Tora Bora mountains. OBL would not have needed to because nothing outside of a sternly worded letter would have been sent to the Taliban.

Of course the current dipshit in chief wants to invade a NUCLEAR power called Pakistan, insteadm to get him.

You want to play what if's? <snip irrelevant liberal fever dream>

Socialize the losses and privatize the profits bankrupted the USA. But if we try to socialize the profits, you call it socialism.

No, what is bankrupting the US is the corruption and massive social spending on unconstitutional projects that have been around and building in size since the 1930s. Then threatening to loot anyone who dares to make a profit in this nation scares outside help away and makes the nation a toxic place to invest. Nationalizing 2/3rds of the nations auto industry in shades of Venezuelan oil facilities comes to mind and scares away sane investors.

You fail to realize that people, labor and capital are mobile and don't give a flying fuck about nationality or patriotism. They can easily leave and abandon this business wasteland to more fertile fields in China, India and Japan because they don't put up with namby pamby do-gooding asshats like environmentalists who want to destroy humanity.

You are doing a bang up job of ushering in the next dark age. Way to go!

You are stupid. Seriously. But that's just a theory. And not a conspiracy.

Dude, I doff my hat to you. You've managed to illustrate a nigh religious level of stupidity in worshiping this political codification of destruction and failure. That takes serious effort and delusion. Good on ya! May we all survive long enough to learn from your object lesson and never let others repeat it.

You're on Glen Beck's newsletter mailing list? That explains everything.

Never read an issue. I just don't listen to the bullshit state controlled media and get information from other reliable sources than TV and American Newspapers. Maybe I should though. Put the NYTimes back one more subscription. Oh wait. You can't pay me to read their lies.
