Good Ole Socialists/Progressives: Trying To Get Fox News Banned...

Liberals are full of shit regarding Freedom of Speech, they will try to get Rush off the radio, FOX off TV and they attack conservatives on college campuses when they speak out.

At my undergrad alma mater the little liberal lemming students attacked Tom Tancredo when he showed up to speak causing the left-wing leadership on campus to apologize to keep the facade of academic freedom alive for those that rank schools. Liberal professors like Ward Churchill can lie about their "indian" roots and call 9/11 victims "Nazis" but nobody attacks him on campus.

Then they play victims, and call people liars when an individual take a different position than their own....

The opening scene from 1984 where they're in the movie theater is eerily similar to the present day progressives...

Hell, the whole progressive philosophy is an Orwellian rip-off.

Liberals like the Fairness Doctrine when conservative media on the TV and radio starts to expose liberal lies and makes a dent in their message. All of sudden those popular private conservative media outlets are supposed to let liberals air their lies over their medium.

Liberals are just like the Nazis and the communists in the USSR/North Korea/China.

FOX News was relentless against Paul because of his opposition to Republican national security and domestic surveillance policies.

Ron Paul was one of the most vocal critics of Homeland Security, which he compared to Germany of the 30s & the KGB of the old Soviet Union (in it's secrecy and scope).

FOX News systematically attacked (& withheld support for) Ron Paul's policies because he opposed Big Government Conservatism and the Iraq War.

The OP is confused. He is protecting a news outfit that marginalizes the only sane voices Right of center, chief among them being Ron Paul.

God Help Us . . . because the OP votes

I record "The Five", "O'Reilley Factor", "Hannity" and "On the Record" on FOX on weekdays.
I record "Hardball", "The Ed Show" and "The Last Word" on MSNBC on weekdays.

I watch them at my leisure, skipping all the commercials.

Two things you can be sure of:

The shows on FOX will always present liberal guests, and in some segments, ONLY liberal guests, while the shows on MSNBC will present conservative guests only very rarely.

MSNBC shows are offensive hate fests, filled with phony and snide remarks, always at the expense of those who dare to be conservatives, while the shows on FOX are entertaining and funny and the FOX hosts have the grace and sense of humor to - sometimes - laugh at themselves.

As far as news, there is nobody on MSNBC even comparable to Shepard Smith.
Of course, the "Liberals" are really MODERATE CON$ passed off as Libs, and even then they are NEVER allowed to speak without constant and habitually rude interruption.

The "Libs" are never free to speak without interruption, their right to free speech ends with each interruption. That's free speech CON$ervoFascist style!

That's why so many people are tuned off to the mainstream news. They have like 3 Libs to one Con and the Libs constantly interrupt the Cons and won't let them speak. Many get a headache trying listen to to everyone speaking all at the same time.
Libs are very rude and are always interrupting conservatives when they are speaking.
Fox controls that rude behavior and Libs hate that.
Both sides are talked about in a sane way and you can listen to each one's ideology.
You can't be serious!

HanNITWITty is the rudest interrupter in all media!!!! He never lets anyone he disagrees with finish a thought. While they are talking, you can see him champing at the bit looking for an opportunity to rudely interrupt.

Cons like "fairness" as long as it can be bought with money.

If anyone speaks of "fairness" outside of powerful interests and lobbying CONS start screaming "CENSORSHIP....and SOCIALISM!"

Go figure lol!

FOX News isn't going to cater to someone on the fringe of the GOP.

Most FOX viewers support the war efforts to rid the planet of islamic terrorism, so they're not going to push Ron Paul coming in 3rd and 4th in GOP elections as "the man." :eusa_whistle:

He can get airtime support for his stance against abortion and big Govt, but don't go on rants that we caused 9/11 and we should hide within our country allowing the rest of the world to go into anarachy.

Fox and the rest of the Pub Propaganda Machine are a joke and a disgrace to everyone but brainwashed loudmouth dittohead/dupes/haters. Bring back the Fairness Doctrine so there is an argument against the demagogues. ...Fox IS sneaky but many stories are ignored, many stats are spun. The evidence is the chumps on here.

I will not sink to your level, so I will not refer to good people, whose opinions differ from mine, with epithets, as you have.

But be careful what you wish for, you might get it. And then of course, MSNBC would have to give equal time to conservatives. Wouldn't that irk you?!

Air America was supposed to be the antidote for Limbaugh. Spewing their bile 24/7 was not enough to keep them on the air, never mind competing with Rush.

The funny thing about the fairness doctrine is that the intent of the doctrine is to have a "fair and balanced" news source -- I would certainly call having two opposing opinions being "fair and balanced" considering it tells two sides of a story....

Of course progressives only want one side of a story - the side they agree with - they cant handle any opposition at all or any differing opinions on a subject..

They're pretty much totalitarians... The best part is that they preach tolerance... yet these simpletons cant even tolerate Fox News and their opinion shows.

Leftists take hypocrisy to a new level.

:cuckoo: How have you avoided drowning in your toilet being so stupid?

Conservatives fund their media whereas liberals many times like the taxpayers to fund their media that lies 24/7, see PBS and NPR.

The liberals own NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, msnbc, etc but whine that Rush and FOX News exist. :cuckoo:

You're just a fucking moron or evil, maybe both.

Ridiculous! I see the "cutting off" going both ways and all ways! I have seen O"Reilly over talk liberals and conservatives- BUT I have likewise seen both cutting him off- On Hannity and the Five all sides and voices get heard as well. The POINT- no not the one atop your head, is that all sides are present and all sides have a voice- whereas in the biased MSNBC and a few of the network programming- It's ALL liberal all the time.
HanNITWITty is by far the worst offender for interrupting. You must need a hearing aid if you never hear it!

That's because they dodge the questions. ORielly and Hannity doesn't let them get away with it. They interupt them when they go off on a different direction to try to avoid the subject, or question.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I read his post. When the person being interviewed tries to slide into a Talking Point instead of answering the question they get called on it.

When I was living in Europe I watched the BBC with some Sunday panel to discuss the Iraq War. They had about 5-6 people against the war and "the USA" to go with 1 American on the panel. The American in my opinion was also handpicked since he wasn't the best person to defend the war and the USA, so it was on purpose.

This is what Euro trash get in their media, a slanted TV show lying about the war and the USA. This is what liberals want here, they want FOX and Rush to go away so they can stack the Sunday panels with liberals to endlessly stay in power feeding the lemmings that tune in to "get their news."

That's the rationalization HanNITWITty uses to rudely interrupt when the speaker does not give HanNITWITty the answer he wants to his "question" premised on a lie. When an honest person exposes the lie the "question" is based on they are interrupted, HanNITWITty can't let his audience get exposed to the truth.

I don't know.......Juan Williams, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, Barrack Obama, etc......just about every lib spokesperson uses interruption and shouting over people as a tactic to dominate debates and discussions. Personally, I think Bill O'Reilly is worse, but Rachel Maddow is the worst.

And I'm a Ron Paul supporter......... Of course I disliked how Paul was treated by Fox News and republican media in general, but at the same time as a libertarian I love, respect and would die for the First Amendment (Bill of Rights)....

One of the better things about this country is that you can speak your mind, apparently progressives don't believe so.

Well Briton only allowed their government to ban guns..... Now they arrest people for free speech.

You don't watch Hannity do you?
If you did you would see that they do not answer the question directly, they go off on something else to deflect it. It's oldest political ploy in the handbook of deceitful politician's and journalists.

No, I just don't wear any Fox News is evil glasses or Fox News provides no liberal voice earmuffs when watching. I actually dislike Hannity's show because of all the cross-talk being too distracting.
