Good Ole Socialists/Progressives: Trying To Get Fox News Banned...

This is what the Democratic Party has come to. Pretty sad. :(

This month, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW) wrote to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski asking him to revoke the broadcasting licenses of Rupert Murdoch. A ban would include any and all news organizations affiliated with Murdoch’s umbrella organization, News Corp, which owns Fox News.

Donors to CREW include such liberal groups as George Soros' Open Society Institute, Democracy Alliance, Service Employees International Union, the Arca Foundation, and the Gill Foundation.

Nuff said.

I record "The Five", "O'Reilley Factor", "Hannity" and "On the Record" on FOX on weekdays.
I record "Hardball", "The Ed Show" and "The Last Word" on MSNBC on weekdays.

I watch them at my leisure, skipping all the commercials.

Two things you can be sure of:

The shows on FOX will always present liberal guests, and in some segments, ONLY liberal guests, while the shows on MSNBC will present conservative guests only very rarely.

MSNBC shows are offensive hate fests, filled with phony and snide remarks, always at the expense of those who dare to be conservatives, while the shows on FOX are entertaining and funny and the FOX hosts have the grace and sense of humor to - sometimes - laugh at themselves.

As far as news, there is nobody on MSNBC even comparable to Shepard Smith.

Only an actual viewer understands the "fair and balanced" programming at FOX as compared to the insipid conservative bashing at MSNBC.

They should be calling themselves "Fox Opinion Network". They sued for the right to lie and their rational was that they weren't a "news" organization, rather an "opinion" network. Calling themselves "Fox News" is a lie to the American people and misleading.

Democrats practice free speech. Republicans lie.

When you lie about liberals, it's just an "opinion". When you tell the truth about conservatives, it's "bashing".

Funny how there seems to be an entire industry that has popped up in recent years dedicated to trying to discredit FOX. For as bad as the left/dims hate FOX, they always seem to know what is ON FOX.

You'd think they actually watched FOX to know that much. Maybe that's why FOX's ratings are so high. The left/dims are watching, stomping their feet, and drooling over what FOX says.

I wonder if they watch the other networks with so much intensity, and constantly point out their errors?

Probably not...

The REAL "opinion network" is MSNBC, since it does not have a single program that is NEWS.

.

Here we go again. Gawd I hate this. Eliminate opposing speech.

Just to add to it, they evidently think MSNBC is right on the money, objective as the day is long.

What are they afraid of? Never mind. The answer is clear.

.

Scratch a liberal and underneath you find a Stalinist. They prove it almost every day.

Of course, the "Liberals" are really MODERATE CON$ passed off as Libs, and even then they are NEVER allowed to speak without constant and habitually rude interruption.

The "Libs" are never free to speak without interruption, their right to free speech ends with each interruption. That's free speech CON$ervoFascist style!

Citizens for who?

Sounds like an isolated group with a baseless filing.

Yep, except none of it is true.
MSNBC hates Fox so of course they are going to spin and lie about Fox.
I watched that show toward the end of that video.
It was made very clear to the viewers that they were talking about Wisconsin and Florida.
People are sick and tired of the mainstream news. People don't like it when they are told what to think and every single mainstream news, is soft on Dem's that they like and try influence the voters, to vote for Dem's.
This is exactly what other countries do that are Dictatorships or Totalitarians. It must be one ideology(to control the population), of information and must be supportive of the ideology to the Government.
In America it's Liberal ideology and supportive of Liberal Dem's.

Fox lying IS news. Everytime they are caught, it goes national. It's a great source of "mirth".

Responsibly and Ethics are always baseless to the right wing. Jokes and something to avoid.

Ridiculous! I see the "cutting off" going both ways and all ways! I have seen O"Reilly over talk liberals and conservatives- BUT I have likewise seen both cutting him off- On Hannity and the Five all sides and voices get heard as well. The POINT- no not the one atop your head, is that all sides are present and all sides have a voice- whereas in the biased MSNBC and a few of the network programming- It's ALL liberal all the time.

Thanks!

I haven't even looked at this board in about nine years. It was a pretty ornery forum back then in the early stages of the Iraq war and I got banned promptly lol!

I got some kind of invitation shorly after to come back though in my e-mail by one of the webmasters. I guess they had been having a problem with snarly moderators banning people for "differing" opinions or something and they were in the process of "cleaning house" so to speak?

Back then I was a REAL lib.....left of the Kennedy's lol!

Now, almost a decade later.....I'm not quite as passionate about it all. I'm an old veteran of these psychic wars though and I eat dittohead for breakfast with my first cup of joe and spit out the remains just for sport. I read Limbaugh's website daily just so I know where their talking points are coming from in addition to other CONservative sources lol!

Meanwhile.....I notice none of the old avatars that were here back then remain.

Either they died or they bailed when the moderators lost the power to ban people who disturbed their realities in their little rubber sounding chambers?

Who knows?

So you say FOX "lies". Do you pay that much attention when other networks "lie"? Or are you just a partisan hack that doesn't care when the other lie, just when FOX does?

Yes, because calling a conservative woman who regularly hosts the Factor a slut or another a **** is telling the truth~
