In other words, the public doesnt give a rats ass about the "consensus" science..........in fact, in a recent Pew poll, it was ranked DEAD LAST out of 22 of the most significant concerns of the people.

The majority recognizes that there is a clear agenda with the climate k00ks, thus, see it as a scam. Electric cars? Nobody cares. WIndmills and solar are seen as a bonifide joke in 2012........a new company failing on a weekly basis. The 2011 UN estimate of 76 trillion for the world to go green iced it for the growing contingent of climate skeptics. The recent climate conference in Durbin Africa? Nobody showed up and the US didnt even send a representative!!

And how many times did Obama talk about climte change in his SOTU speech? ZERO

Actually you made one mistake and it's Key. The Majority of Scientists agree on Climate change. The have been running away from the Term Warming for some time.

The reason they went with 'change' instead of 'warming', is so that no matter what way things go, they can be correct. if it gets warmer, they can say 'see? the climate changed, just like we said.' If it gets colder, they can say 'see? the climate changed, just like we said.'

That way, the funding keeps rolling in, regardless of what actually happens.

Now you are a fucking idiot. By everyones measurements, we have been warming. And the cost of extreme weather events has increased fivefold according to the people that would know the most about that, Swiss Re, and Munich Re, the two biggest re-insurance corperations in the world.

As did the odd removal of several key Monitoring stations (all from Generally cold Areas) and a tendency to locate new Stations inside Urban Heat Island Areas.

hell there is one in my town, and in a small northern Michigan town, the managed to put the thing 8 feet from the Busiest intersection for 150 Miles in any Direction.

When it's cold it's 'Global Warming', when it's warm it's 'Global Warming', When it snows it's 'Global Warming', When it doesn't snow it's 'Global Warming', When it rains it's 'Global Warming', When it doesn't rain it's 'Global Warming', When there's Tornadoes it's 'Global Warming', When there's Hurricanes it's 'Global Warming', When there's Earthquakes it's 'Global Warming', and so on and so on. Climate has been "changing" since the beginning of time.

In the late 1700's there was snow in July in the midwest (yes, the midwest of the "now" unites states). It was during a time that was known as the "Mini Ice Age"....and since then, temperatures have been warming....just as they did after the real ice age.....

The "man made" part has yet to be proven...and even if it were "man made", the earth did not fall off its axis when it was natural...so why would it fall off its axis if it is man made?

The whole thing is crap...and if it proves to be a real problem, we will be able to correct it when necessary.

While I totally agree with JosefK, I would love to hear Bripat explain to us all how the existence of snow disproves Man-Made Global Warming.

It reminds me of a few winters back when the NE US had major snow storms. Conservatives were gloating like they had actually proved some kind of point. I guess somebody forgot to tell them that snow is not unusual during the wintertime.

Of course, whenever there's a heat wave or a drought, turds like you are touting it as proof of global warming. If singular weather events are evidence of global warming, then they are also proof of global cooling. The warmist cult lives by the sword, and it dies by the sword.
