Glenn Beck being boycotted! Its bound to backfire!

So what do you call "responding without understanding context"?

Edit to add: It's pretty funny, if you google "advertiser boycott", the only results are about Beck's show.
and this thread is likely among them

A few pages in, yes.
blog sites make it next to impossible to find legit sites in searches
i wish they would create a new TLD of .news
that way when you want to find a legit site you can limit it to just those with the .news TLD
and require standards to get that TLD

Maybe they can make the ones who call themselfs "news" present both sides and allow dissenting views to be aired?

If he gets fired I'll be laughing for a good 2 weeks straight...seriouslay.

Rating dictate advertising. Not the other way around. So Walmart takes a stand, maybe Target will jump right in to take that business! I truly think Color of Change's (lead by a self-proclaimed socialist) campaign is going to backfire and provide a huge jolt to Beck's ratings. I personally don't watch or particularly like Beck, but I am more inclined to watch him because of this bullshit leftist squeeze on the first amendment. Left support the 1st amendment for their message, when its not their message, they shoot it down!

You know I personally don't like what I am hearing from the right-wing pundits on Fox or the radio when it comes to healthcare. I think they are using propaganda, but I don't want to silence them. Because in America we have the 1st amendment!

Retailing giant Wal-Mart and seven other companies pulled their ads from his show, organizers said.

Among those bailing on Beck: GMAC Financial Services, Best Buy, CVS and Travelocity.

A total of 20 companies have pulled their ads in the last two weeks, Color of Change says, including Geico, ConAgra, RadioShack, Men's Wearhouse, State Farm, Sargento and Procter & Gamble.

Judging from Monday night's broadcast, there were plenty of companies eager to fill the ad slots, including The Wall Street Journal, DirecTV, Honda and Oprah Winfrey's Oxygen Channel.

Has it occurred to you there is a difference between free speech and outright lies?

Possibly with a little public push these companies have finally come to realize they cannot support pundits that get on TV and outright spread lies and misinformation to Americans.

Good for them.

Free speech represents protection for a multitude of nasty things, even in most cases the right to lie. Don't confuse free market business decisions with free speech.

Who lied?
They did.

What about?
Anything. Everything. You name it.

And can you prove it's a lie?
Absolutely.

Take your time, I'll wait.
Sorry to keep you.

That's what I thought . You people talk out your ass and can't back up any of the bullshit you spew.

Who are they?

Name the specific lies.

And prove each one is a lie.

I'll be waiting for your predictably asinine response.

Not only do almost all of Glen Beck's audience shop at Wal-Mart, they all pretty much work there.

So I don't think this will have an effect.
uh, not really
most of the people that shop at walmart would be working at the time beck show is on
and the sad fact is, they really wouldnt have many other options for shopping
