Glenn Beck being boycotted! Its bound to backfire!

Rating dictate advertising. Not the other way around. So Walmart takes a stand, maybe Target will jump right in to take that business! I truly think Color of Change's (lead by a self-proclaimed socialist) campaign is going to backfire and provide a huge jolt to Beck's ratings. I personally don't watch or particularly like Beck, but I am more inclined to watch him because of this bullshit leftist squeeze on the first amendment. Left support the 1st amendment for their message, when its not their message, they shoot it down!

You know I personally don't like what I am hearing from the right-wing pundits on Fox or the radio when it comes to healthcare. I think they are using propaganda, but I don't want to silence them. Because in America we have the 1st amendment!

President Obama insult by Glenn Beck has advertisers boycotting show
Retailing giant Wal-Mart and seven other companies pulled their ads from his show, organizers said.

Among those bailing on Beck: GMAC Financial Services, Best Buy, CVS and Travelocity.

A total of 20 companies have pulled their ads in the last two weeks, Color of Change says, including Geico, ConAgra, RadioShack, Men's Wearhouse, State Farm, Sargento and Procter & Gamble.

Judging from Monday night's broadcast, there were plenty of companies eager to fill the ad slots, including The Wall Street Journal, DirecTV, Honda and Oprah Winfrey's Oxygen Channel.

Someone else may have covered this...I've only read the first post...but advertisers pulling their ads is NOT a boycott. It would be a boycott if those advertisers were calling on people to not watch Beck or people were asking others to not buy from Beck's sponsors.

If he gets fired I'll be laughing for a good 2 weeks straight...seriouslay.

Thought it would be kinda fun to review who won the war between Beck and the Color of Change.

Beck - still on air, ever increasing audience, ever growing list of sponsors - didn't actually lose a single sponsor - not one, Van Jones 'resigned'.

Color of change - nope, can't think of a single point scored.

I make that:

Beck 1
Cof 0

Beck leads 1 game to nil - new balls please.
