I believe that those three sentences sum up very well the state of print journalism.SI used to be cutting edge sports reporting and the swimsuit issue was just a sideshow.
Nobody reads magazines anymore and ESPN and other sports outlets beat SI on the big stories.
SI is now irrelevant
As an 86-year-old, I believe that the only real journalism is PRINT.
But, of course, most Americans are not 86 years old!
(Here in Los Angeles, for example, the once mighty Los Angeles Times is on the ropes.)
