Friend locked up in Jail in Havana

Hi,

My friend is currently locked up in Havana. The authorities didn't tell him any reason why he is taken to jail. He is a Cuban research scientist. To the best of my knowledge he have never participated in any of the political activity or demonstration. I am wondering what best can I do to help him as per my capacity. I am Indian, currently in US and a research scientist.

How is he communicating with you?

Seems you would need a Cuban attorney to help him out. How to find one? Via the internet probably.

Does your friend have any money? Do you? He's going to need money to get out of this mess.
