Fox news most trusted once again!!! MSNBC last, again.

I don't recall Walter Cronkite ever debating anyone on his news program, and yet he was not only the most trusted television news journalist, he was the most trusted American. Maybe, just maybe, integrity is more important than ratings, eh?

integrity???? he was a blind dumb liberal ass who thought liberalism was the truth because he lacked the IQ to understand that our country was based on freedom from liberal govt.

That must be an easy race to win when it has been scientifically proven that Fox viewers are the least informed when compared to any other viewing group.
In fact, they're actually less informed than non-viewers of tv news.
The poor dumbasses just don't know any better.

That's just science...please don't shoot the messenger.

of course if true you would not be so afraid to present your evidence. what does your fear teach us about the character of liberals.
Sorry, I thought everyone knew it...being Science and all.
On average, people correctly answered 1.6 of 5 questions about domestic affairs.

They found that someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer 1.04 domestic questions correctly compared to 1.22 for those who watched no news at all. Those watching only “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” answered 1.42 questions correctly and people who only listened to NPR or only watched Sunday morning political talk shows answered 1.51 questions correctly.

In terms of international news, people correctly answered an average of 1.8 of 4 questions.

With all else being equal, people who watched no news were expected to answer 1.28 correctly; those watching only Sunday morning shows figured at 1.52; those watching only “The Daily Showfigured at 1.60; and those just listening to NPR were expected to correctly answer 1.97 international questions.

It is a follow-up to a 2011 survey of 612 New Jerseyans that found, among other things, that those who watched Fox News were 18 points less likely to know that Egyptians overthrew their government than those who watch no news at all.

great a study that compares 24 hours of fox news to 1 hour of Daily show!! when it should compare 24 hours of each.

Do you understand??

Fox News is trusted by Fox viewers

No surprises

liberal idiot!!! study showed Fox was more trusted than other networks that have viewers too.

Depends how you do a study

Provide a list of five news channels and ask which is most trusted and all conservatives will automatically chant FOX. Everyone else will split their vote over the other four

Ask people if they trust Fox or not and Fox does not do very well

yes I recall that one, it was tota;y idiotic it compared 24 hours of fox news to 1 hour of Daily Show and Daily Show was a tiny bit ahead as if that proves something. A fair comparison would be 24 hours of Fox against 24 hours of Daily show. And since daily show does not present news you have to take into account what other sources viewers of both used.

See why we say a liberal will be slow?
So, how do you explain that people that don't watch any news at all are still better informed than Fox viewers.
Further, you are saying that Daily Show viewers are better informed from a half hour show when Fox has a whole 24 hours available.

You make an interesting and valid point.

And now we see how far astray so-called conservatism has moved in this country. Congratulations, loser.

Huge differences between then and now though. At that time, it was against the law for foreign interests to own US media as well as illegal for any corp to own more than one media.

We still had a real FCC then. Murdoch had not yet bought the president of the FCC and there wasn't a Muslim in charge of what the RWs watch on fox.

If you want to see the death of true journalism in the US, watch the documentary, Orwell Rolls In His Grave. Its available on You Tube.

Yea, liberals yearn for the good old days, when we just had ink 13 channels to choose from and they controlled all media 100% with no competition what so ever

Told ya all liberals hate the 1st amendment

ANYONE who thinks MSNBC or FOX NEWS is a legitimate news source is a fucking MORON! A MORON. An idiot...A LEMMING!

MSNBC and FNC pervert the truth.

You are so wrong.
It was 12 channels. There was no channel 1. I can even tell you why.

Anyway -- Liberals wrote the First Amendment. And made it Number One. So yer still wrong.

Fox is most trusted because it features debate while MSNBC is least trusted because it features propaganda,i.e., no debate!

Excellent. A Special Ed thread, replete with links, or should I say lack thereof, from the same guy who to this day tries to tell us Thomas Jefferson founded the Republican Party, 28 years after his own death.

Fitting that the thread would be about Fox Noise.

I thought libs championed diversity and free speech? Why do they want a monopoly on the news still after 50 years straight owning ALL MEDIA. I didn't hear them bitching about CNN when they lied for decades.

They hate Fox so much because they get an opposing view that calls out the lib lies and scandals and damage they do to the country and people. Libs hate getting called out on their hypocrisy.

Just because we believe in free speech doesn't mean that we have to keep quiet when confronted with bullshit.

You have a degree in history? That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. You must have gotten it from the same place 1%er got his masters in business.

Yeah, back when I was in college, and still right wing, I tried pushing the whole 'Communism killed 100 million line", but that was laughed out of serious History study. Because it's bullshit.

lmao are you 18? Up in Chicago I had 2,5,7,9,11,32 and the Spanish channel 44 so it was just 7 but there was room for over 13

the founding fathers were far from liberals quit pretending they were and trying to rewrite history, the liberals of the day were the Abolishment moment of slavery like the Quakers

Abolitionist Movement

And you do know "13 channels of shit" is just an expression it comes from a pink Floyd song why you even bothered to argue with me on that point proves you are an asshat

The only free speech you like is your own stop with the bullshit, liberals would love to bring back the fairness doctrine because they know most liberals are stupid and would rather watch reruns of the brady bunch then the news.

What kind of comeback is that? Every journalist in the day knew JFK was fucking around but hid it from the public, it took to the 80s when the fairness doctrine was removed and talk radio emerged and reported the truth about Bill Clinton in the 90s yes liberals hate the 1st amendment.
