Hey, Missourian, about factoring Fox actual in time on Haiti along with the slanted coverage from mediabistro. Otherwise, you are not proving anything.

Jake,

The OP author believes:
":doubt: Fox is so confused as to how to deal with the crisis, that it laid front of them. A good News Program would follow the program and then air it online or on TV. It's takes some know-how, and some intelligence to do that."
And yet FNC not only has the most viewer, they gained viewers while all the other cable news channels lost viewers.

That proves quite a bit and rips open a hole in the OP you could fly a Fox News chopper through.

So only sheeple watch cable news? That is the logical extension of your post.

But actually yer just mis-interpreting the ratings data to say that 95% of people don't watch Fox. The actual, accurate, way to state it is that 95% the populace don't watch Fox at any given time. Kinda hard to get 100% of the populace to watch TV at the same time. Never will happen.

Keep in mind, Bill Oreilly, Hannity and Beck spent 7 minutes of coverage on this....maybe the reason they didnt cover it was because they couldnt blame it on Obama?

Heloooooooooooooooooo, they are political pundents, they are not paid to cover this. Watch the FOX regular news hour between 5-6pmMST and the Haiti coverage is all you will see.

BTW- Fox employee, Heraldo is on it and you will be hearing from him and often.

I can't beleive that MSNBC is still in business. Rachel Maddox, another club member of the Nit Wit Liberal Loon Nut Club doing her best at dumbing down America still there. I tell ya, I don't know why she does not try out for a linebacker position for the University of Michigan, she would be a shoe-in. All she needs is the helmet.:lol:

Fox coverage has by far been the best regarding the tragedy. Balanced, not overly dramatized (man oh man the squealing pigs at MSNBC...what jokes are they!) showing concern, yet also hopeful. Well done Fox News - once again proving why you are far and away the most watched cable news network. It is also worth noting that Fox has not dropped the ball on all the other news regarding the Scott Brown election and Obama bank tax, the job losses, etc. While the other networks perform some major "don't look over there - keep your eyes on the nice tragedy story over here!" Fox has continued to offer up a more news and less self-promoting tragedy drama.

And in related news - Rush Limbaugh has been taking some heat regarding his comments on the Haiti crisis. Despite the rabid left trying as they might to twist Limbaugh's words and intent to fit their own pre-conditioned outlook on all things, Limbaugh's position makes a very valid point as to why government handouts make for a far weaker system. Haiti lives off of donations, which creates rampant abuses of outright theft - with too little resources actually going to the people. And in the end - it's the nations that have long enjoyed systems of economic freedoms and opportunity who now come to the aid - yet again, of a nation who has not. America of course, does this more than any other nation on earth, and our greatness is found within our ability to do so - an ability that is endangered by the leftist Big Goverment agenda that has overtaken Washington DC these past few years.

Some of Limbaugh's comments are as follows:
____

"On Oct. 17, 1989, a major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 struck the Bay Area in Northern California. Sixty-three people were killed. This week, a major earthquake, also measuring a magnitude of 7.0, struck near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The Red Cross estimates that between 45,000 and 50,000 people have died. This is not a natural disaster story. This is a poverty story. It's a story about poorly constructed buildings, bad infrastructure and terrible public services. On Thursday, President Obama told the people of Haiti: 'You will not be forsaken; you will not be forgotten.'

If he is going to remain faithful to that vow then he is going to have to use this tragedy as an occasion to rethink our approach to global poverty. He's going to have to acknowledge a few difficult truths. The first of those truths is that we don't know how to use aid to reduce poverty. Over the past few decades, the world has spent trillions of dollars to generate growth in the developing world. The countries that have not received much aid, like China, have seen tremendous growth and tremendous poverty reductions. The countries that have received aid, like Haiti, have not." Oh, my gosh, this is deja vu, except I'm the one that said it. Using our own war on poverty, how much money have we given to the poor in this country, and we still have the same percentages of poor people -- and we're never supposed to examine the results, right? Only the good intentions of the givers.

Of Course, I Never Told Anyone Not to Donate to a Charitable Cause

I don't know if you're kidding, Zona. But I think that's true. Look at the bag heads on this site. They have been particularly obnoxious today with the name calling and cussing and the childishness. It does sound a little like they are fuming because they can't blame Obama.

Your neg reps are not going to stop me, Dive Con. I will continue to tell the truth as I see it and you keep doing whatever it is you do.

I have had 2 others today besides yours and I am thrilled!!! Thank you. This always means I'm on the right track.

Thank you!!!

It's a fact that--MSNBC aka (the dumb down America station) ratings have collapsed. They are the LEAST watched station out of all major networks. MSNBC comes in LAST place. FOX is still the top rated news network & enjoys more than 3 times the viewers--with approximately 1.5 million watching Bill O'reilly--while Criss Mathews has an audiance of 340K. ---:lol::lol:

When this happens advertisers--the ones who are paying for these programs start moving in other directions when their contracts, with these shows run out.

Therefore, if MSNBC can't get it together--they will be just a distant memory.

HEY OREO WHEN FAUX ACTUALLY GETS IN GAME , PLEASE LET ME KNOW DICKWAD

"NBC Nightly News" Easily Wins 2008-2009 Season, Up Year-Over-Year

So now you've moved into comparing nightly news which is ABC, NBC & CBS aka Main Stream Media--that only offer a 1/2 hr. nightly program--for those millions who only want to "scratch the surface of what went on that day"--& throw it in there to compare a 24 hr. cable news network--in your defense of the dumb down America channel--MSNBC---:lol::lol::lol: I have yet to see Criss Mathews-Rachel Maddow or Keith Olbermann--on NBC with Brian Williams. In fact, you have to actually change the channel to get to MSNBC- in case you didn't know?

Nice try--it didn't work though---:lol::lol::lol:

They certainly do this--:lol::lol:

Fox news doesn't--CNN does--it's a continual rotation of news every 15 or 20 minutes. Fox will go into business-the stock market activity--weather--what's on the political front--& recently they have spent a lot of time on the rescue & relief in Haiti--they have different topics they cover all day long.

It's obvious you have never watched FOX--but feel the need to make comments on a news network you know nothing about. That's fascinating to me.
