    Ted Williams never adapted to the shift...he was a dead-pull hitter his entire career. Of his 521 home runs, he hit exactly one to left field.

    He only hit .344 with the best OBP ever (a staggering .482).

    Obviously, Williams beat it or wouldn’t have such a high OBP
