FIVE % growth 3rd quarter- Want to act like Americans yet, haters?

So much for Obama destroying the American economy

We will find out if Obama actually will work with Republicans and a bipartisan Congress to push legislation to help create jobs, or if his dictatorship to follow his ideology will trump progress.

You have that backwards Bubba, can the GOPers give up their tax cutting and gutting regulations for the 'job creators' to allow Obama's recovery from 8 years of Dubya/GOP 'job creator' failed policies!

What will the R's propose which you believe Obama will accept? Cut taxes for the 1% and raise fees for the rest of us? Cut Corporate taxes, Cut the 'death' tax, Cut capital gains and repeal the PPACA, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and the Depts of Education and Energy?

Gee, what might (think real hard) be the consequences of such actions? Now don't pretend they'll be all good, a budget must consider cost-benefit as well as the unintended consequences of such policies.

Exactly how does Obama and the democrats intend to encourage businesses to look to the United States as a place to build it's manufacturing plants, and encourage business growth? After all, looking to the same old cliches of Republicans supporting our children buying automatic weapons, or a government health care plan that will prove to be more affordable in improving quality of care, didn't exactly win the confidence of the voters to retain the House .... and now the Senate.

Could it be the liberals are left with no real answers to the opening question, that the voters are sick of Democrats hiding behind political stereotypes when they can't debate on that issue and provide any real plan?

What is the answer, and can the left actually provide one without averting the issues yet again?

You mean 8 years of Dubya/GOP 'job creator' policies didn't 'encourage' Biz to look to US to build it's plants? Weird

Under Obama, the US has 7+ million private sector jobs created AFTER Dubya/GOP policies lost 1+ million

Weird, you'd think RECORD Corp profits, LOWEST Corp taxes on Corps in 40+ years AND first time EVER US Corps cost of employees was below 50%, Corps would be lining up to pay China or Vietnam level wages in the US? LOL

Perhaps instead of gutting tax revenues via tax cuts for 'job creators' and 'free trade', GOOD GOV'T POLICY WOULD WORK?

You know since the VAST majority of ALL Corp profits are made in the USA? We could have policies that REQUIRE Corps reinvesting in the US? Instead we will allow them, via GOP/conservative policy to take the profits AND jobs offshore!!!

It seems we have experienced different realities. In mine the D's tried to reform health care during the first term of President Clinton, and the R's and special interests shot it down.

The D's gave us Medicare, Medicaid and later CHIP.

Then the Obama Administration took on the issue, which has been opposed by conservatives since Teddy Roosevelt was in office, and passed the PPACA, with zero R support, after a summer of a full court press trying to convince the American People that is was the first step toward Socialism/Marxism/Communism; proving that Lincoln was spot on as they were able to fool some of the people all of the time. They were easy to spot, they wore 18th Century clothing and parroted the bullshit propaganda so common on this forum today.

If the Democrats did such a great job with the passage of Obamacare, why did they lose the House and Nancy Pelosi her position as Speaker? Looks like the voters are not taking to your explanation of Health Care and the economy, as losing the Senate just further separates your "reality" from actuality as you lose more seats. Care to explain your apparent disconnect with the election results?

I ask again. Why are liberal Democrats unable to provide an answer to how you intend to encourage businesses to establish themselves and BUILD in this country? The United States has already lost it's position as the leader in the steel industry that it once enjoyed back in the 40s. Care to take another stab at answering the question? It's really an easy question to have answered. What is the Democrats plan?

You mean REDISTRICTING?

GOP Memo: Gerrymandering Won Us The House Majority

"The rationale was straightforward," reads the memo. "Controlling the redistricting process in these states would have the greatest impact on determining how both state legislative and congressional district boundaries would be drawn. Drawing new district lines in states with the most redistricting activity presented the opportunity to solidify conservative policymaking at the state level and maintain a Republican stronghold in the U.S. House of Representatives for the next decade."

I KNOW, MORE TAX CUTS AND DEREGULATION WOULD DO IT RIGHT? lol
