OK, I'll keep it real simple for you; fascism and communism are conservative, not liberal...

While not all conservatives are authoritarians; all highly authoritarian personalities are political conservatives.
Robert Altmeyer
I'll make it real simple for you, since you still don't understand:

Neither 'facism nor communism' are conservative, only an idiot would think so.

Both were 'new age' movements born in the late 19th and early 20th centures and both tried with horrendous results for the nations involved.

And the most highly authoritive people on earth are progressives, they try to regulate, control and direct every aspect of life and behavior, so forget that attempt to attack 'conservatives' as the progressive side are the real dictators, or need I remind you of what 'nanny state' means.

Yea...the conservative nanny state...

"The national government... will maintain and defend the foundations on which the power of our nation rests. It will offer strong protection to Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality."

"Today Christians... stand at the head of our country. I pledge that I will never tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity... We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit.... We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theatre, and in the press - in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past... few years."

How unfortunate that no one in your life has loved you enough to teach you about civil discourse.

Tsk, tsk.

But, if you are unhappy with that I say, try putting your fingers in your ears until they meet.

I know plenty about civil discourse. You deserve no such respect from me.

The lack of respect is based on your inability to discriminate...

I merely require more thought and style than you evince.

You're education and silver tongue only make you worse. It means that unless you suffer from some serious denial you are quite aware of what you are doing.

"O con noi o contro di noi"--You're either with us or against us.
Benito Mussolini

Sound familiar?

I believe I will do what I want. I've said nothing to you in private that I haven't or wouldn't say publicly.

I've called you a **** before. Because you are one.

I've called you a hack before. Because you are one.

You are basically a big part of what is wrong with today's political landscape. You are a self proclaimed elitist. You are divisive. You demonize. You twist. You assign blame and refuse to accept it.

Like it or not, you are the problem.

I hope you talk to a lady like that in real life, while standing next to me some day.

e-thuggin' 4 life

Talking to a lady the way you did is thugish. Definding a lady's honor (though she does quite well for herself) is not. You truley live in a bass-ackwards world.

Though I have to admit, Dogbert's pic is quite funny.

Yeah....Sounds just like you. :lol::lol::lol:

It only seems that way to you. That's because you are: A) a bystander, a spectator of life, and B) mentally slow and unable to lift yourself above a child's cognitive view.

Is that the best you got, Jethro?

Don't answer that....That's what we call a "rhetorical question"...We all know the answer is "yes".

Collective morality is not the same as individual morality. Its a different concept that is based on the socialist quest for utopia. Hitler was going to burn all the books in order for every mind to be filled with the 'christian spirit' of love and brotherhood. This was the goal and still is the goal of most socialist states to this day but it isn't just for the christian spirit but also for the spirit of love and unity which is why most socialist concepts feels like collectivism at its heart.

Let me show another quote A. Hitler to prove my point:

As soon as this sense extends beyond the narrow limits of the family, the basis for the formation of larger organisms and finally formal states is created

In other words, the state/society is to be one giant communal family where everyone cares about each other.

The progressives thought the same way which is why they banned drinking and created a 'progressive income tax'. Those people were identical to fascist.

Well, let's ask a real fascist:

"Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."

Benito Mussolini

Now, get from that to the foundations and core philosophies of American Liberalism.

Ready, set...go!!!!
From the same expert on CON$ervoFascism:

Fascism is definitely and absolutely opposed to the doctrines of liberalism,
both in the political and the economic sphere.

Some of us think that people calling themselves liberals today are not liberals at all.

Hey, did you purposely post the "Republican Party Platform"? It's like you listed a perfect description of the Republican Party one point at a time.
Will any Republicans on this thread have the nerve to deny a single one of these points? I would be curious which point they feel doesn't describe the Republican Party.

The way Mussolini understood liberalism, you are right. Fascist despised what American's now call classical liberalism. You know, just like progressives hate classical liberalism.

As far as Corporatism goes, just think Fannie and Freddie, or Amtrack and now GM, or most of healthcare if they can get it. (or post office etc etc...)
