Donald Trump has blasted Hillary Clinton for accepting money from Saudi Arabia through her foundation, but a Daily News investigation reveals he has padded his bank account with cash from the same country.

Trump sold the 45th floor of Trump World Tower to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for $4.5 million in June 2001, according to a city Finance Department spokeswoman. In 2008, the apartments became part of the Saudi Mission to the United Nations, records show.

The five apartments included 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms at the time of the sale, and had yearly common charges of $85,585 for building amenities, documents obtained by The News show. If those common charges remain the same, Trump was paid at least $5.7 million by the Saudi government since 2001.

Meanwhile, blowhard Trump and his cronies have hammered Clinton on the campaign trail, saying she should return money Saudi Arabia gave to the Clinton Foundation because the Arab state has a poor human rights record.

Rebecca Ocampo, who alleged in court papers she helped broker the deal between Trump and the Saudis, said the apartments were about more than money — they were also about “access” to a new, potentially lucrative market in the Middle East.

Ocampo, 67, and her company, Housing International, which specialized in housing for diplomats, sued Trump in 2001, seeking a broker’s fee for the deal. She said she abandoned the suit without it being resolved.

“This underscores the need for him to release more financial information,” said Chris Talbot, a Democratic consultant not working with the Clinton campaign. “We just don’t know very much about his dealings, and that’s concerning from a voter’s perspective.”

Rudy Giuliani, one of Trump’s main surrogates, has gone so far as to call on Clinton to publicly apologize for accepting Saudi cash for the foundation’s charitable work in economic development, health and other arenas.

“I'd like to see her apologize for all the money that the Clinton Foundation has been taking, let's say from Saudi Arabia, where women are not allowed to drive. We know what they got from Trump ( property), what did they get from Hillery. I'll wait this answer should be good.

Are you saying that Trump was a politician when he sold real estate to the Saudis? Or are you saying that mrs bill was not a politician when she took money for favors from the Saudis?

That you can't see the difference is .... not at all surprising.

But you know...Trump selling real estate as a private businessman is the same thing as Hillary as SOS selling favors to foreign nations.

If any American believes that, they must be brain dead.

Big difference between him and Hillary is he didn't make his by selling access and favors.

Show us the evidence that Mrs. Clinton as SecState "sold" access and favors to the Saudis in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation.

People who are "on about" this Clinton Foundation thing -- assuming there's any "there" there, which it's not clear there is -- conveniently ignore key factors:
  • The Clinton Foundation is a charity; it exists to give away money/resources to among the world's poorest people. People don't create charitable foundations to make money, they create them to give it away.
  • Donations to the Clinton Foundation do not benefit the Clintons; they benefit sick and poor people.
Think about that. Charging Mrs. Clinton "sold" access and favors in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation is to assert that the following thought process took place in Mrs. Clinton's mind:

My calendar is pretty full, but if "so and so" makes a hefty donation to the Clinton Foundation so it can feed some more starving people or get (more) meds/treatment to (more) sick people, I'll fit them in somewhere.

Even if she did trade access/favors for donations as suggested, to what end? She had nothing to gain from doing so. There's nothing for Mrs. Clinton to have personally gained from trading access/favors for donations to a charity. The whole situation would be different were the Clinton Foundation the Clinton Corporation, but it's not and never was.

Now, let's look at this from the standpoint of the Saudi donor(s).
  • One may presume the Saudis made the donations to the Clinton Foundation (CF) in order to ingratiate themselves with a former U.S. President. Okay....so what? The operative word there is "former." The man no longer has official power. Here again, is Bill Clinton going to benefit from the donations to the Clinton Foundation? Not unless he becomes a poor, sick, homeless or starving person.
  • One may presume the Saudis donated to the CF in order to ingratiate themselves with Mrs. Clinton, hoping that she wins the Presidential election.

Really? Would you toss tens of millions of dollars at a charity on the hope that the wife of the founder of the charity becomes President so that if/when she does, she is in some way more amenable to meeting with you, talking to you, as a foreign monarch than she otherwise would be?

Get real! Heads of state do not have difficulty getting the ear of other heads of state, foreign ministers, or anyone else for that matter, unless the ear they want is the ear of their political betters.

At least Trump made millions from legitimate business. That shows he is smart.

Crooked Hillary, on the other hand, made millions selling government influence, which, by the way, is illegal and corrupt.

The sad thing is that the Moon Bats don't understand the difference between the two.

At least Trump made millions from legitimate business.

Actually, he made millions by stealing from his employees and contractors, and extracting salaries and dividends out of incorporated shells and dumping them into bankruptcy.
