Have known all along that "renewables" was never a sustainable power source, they are a niche power source and little else.

Finally a few leftists are beginning to realize that they don't know everything......

I watched it tonight. Thought I wasn't gonna learn much except for what I've preaching and environmentally fighting for in these forums and else where for years.. But I was wrong.. Learned quite a bit about powers behind this massive fraud and deceit that I did not know.. And all the "useful idiots" like Kennedy, Gore, McKibben and their ties to Goldman Sachs and corporate America and the PROFITS they were taking on propagandizing the "pseudo greenies" into the whole Alternate Energy fraud...

Michael Moore didn't CONCEIVE this thing.. He's just the Exec Producer.. The WEIGHT OF THE EVIDENCE got him to take it on as a project... Got TOTALLY FUMING at the Sierra Club, Bloomberg and others that rode the "money train" on this.. Had NO IDEA WHY - the Sierra Club was advocating burning trees, tires, and garbage and calling it green... NOW --- I understand.. Not only the innocent "enviro believers" they duped -- but they RUINED the entire fucking Ecology/Environment MOVEMENT in their zeal to profit and create a hollow shell of massive money, resource waste, and needless political confrontation between folks like me and folks who ALSO want a clean earth... But just got LIED TO and USED....

Kinda puts me at peace... Now instead of spending hours typing and talking, I can just give them a link and talk to them AFTER they've watched it... Suggest westwall get some of HIS life back and do the same...

Couple of things.. ONE most of the damning lies and propaganda about "clean green alternative" in the movie was from 20 or even 30 years ago... Wonder WHY -- it got sat on for so long by the folks that ACTUALLY MADE this.. Like celebrities going to mic on Earth Day or Sierra Club events and BRAGGING that this festival was COMPLETELY solar powered, when the music or the whole festival was DIESEL powered if it rained or the clouds came in...

Only thing I want to do right now -- is form a collaboration to figure out how to tie Sanders and AOC to chairs and prop their eyelids open (Clockwork Orange style) and MAKE THEM WATCH their "Green New Deal" go up in Biomass incinerator smoke...

All that said.. The "dream" is badly mislabeled.. These are NOT alternatives, they are "supplements" and I could live with that and the knowledge that OFF GRID uses make more sense for desalinization or breaking hydrogen from water or ANY application where STORAGE OF THE PRODUCT makes sense...

I saw a puff piece on the Weather channel on Earth Day actually bragging that the first year of the wind and solar energy revolution amounted to 1% of the energy and now after ten years it's up to ....wait for it....7%. Now we have unsightly wind machines that might eventually kill every endangered migratory bird and acres of black plastic that burns up every animal that gets near it. A waste of time and energy over a political extortion scheme.

I consider landfills, light pollution, oversized/overpriced/poorly built homes, as examples of overconsumption and waste.

Homes can be easily designed to reduce at least 75% electrical usage, live comfortably anyway because the beds will be the same, the bathrooms will be the same, and so on. The energy saving home design can reduce heat loss by 75% quite easily, save a lot on cooling too.

The conclusion of course was a massive depopulation of the planet and on that idea I can agree.

If everyone who believes humans producing CO2 is causing the earth to over heat taped a plastic bag over their heads before they went to sleep tonight in order to trap the CO2 they exhale, the world would be a much cooler place tomorrow morning.
