Duck Dynasty...wtf?

I consider myself to be more of a redneck than a metrosexual but I never got it. Now I see the ducksters staring out from half a dozen places in Walmart.

It's a cute show, just like honeybooboo. The main attraction is a family that actually likes each other and has fun together, even if they're a little weird. It's nice to see.

However, it's partially staged, like most "reality" shows. One does not achieve multimillion dollar sales from the output of a couple guys in a shed carving duck calls. They've got the normal type manufacturing centers elsewhere, who make their big line of Duck Commander goods of all sorts. Which look a lot like all the other brands, except for the Duck Commander label. They're very savvy at marketing themselves and their brand.
