Disinformation is enemy #1.

War monger. No wars for four years. Then Biden. Two wars, a third in the making with Yemen and Biden gives more $$ to Iran so that they can funnel it back to the opposition. How do you like funding both sides of Biden's wars? You're pretty stupid.

When did America declare war, and with which countries? I don't seem to recall that part. This the type of nonsense the cult drums up every day to distract from the fact that Trump is under 4 criminal indictments and has just lost a rape case lmao

So you don't believe the same as those old people but you're still questioning whether Russia is our enemy?

There was a US embassy in Russia during the cold war as well and many decades before that.
The USA does not maintain embassies in countries that are our enemy.
The USA does not have trade agreements with countries that are our enemy.
The USA does not issue travel or work visas to citizens of countries that are our enemy.

We have sanctions on China, Russia, Venezuela et al and are working to prevent these countries from committing crimes against us such as election interference, spying, disinformation campaigns and such. But we maintain embassies in each country, have trade agreements with each country, and their citizens can come visit us. They are not enemies.

When Germany and Japan and Italy declared war on us, we ended diplomatic with those relations while they were our enemies. When they were no longer enemies, we resumed diplomatic relations in each country.

When Iran took our embassy personnel hostage we ended our diplomatic relations with Iran. They remain our enemy to this day.

President Polk Called, "WTF?"

Russia is following its own Monroe Doctrine, which we haven't done with ours since JFK let Cuban patriots get slaughtered on the beaches of the Bay of Pigs. Right now, Mexico is our Ukraine.
What JFK did was to take the correct course. Ike would invaded and installed a puppet. JFK waited to see if the Cuban People would support the exiles. When they didn’t, he left the choice of which group to support up to the Cuban People. The exiles lost. Now if they had mounted the invasion in the eighties, things might have turned out differently. After decades of poverty, the Cuban People don’t have much affection remaining for the communists,

Embassies mean diddly squat. Russia has embassies here, Putin has also said he could destroy America in half an hour. Russian state tv talks about nuking the US all the time. Putin couldn't be happier to see our downfall. Oh but wait, Russia has embassies here!:lol:

This is Trump influenced brainwashing at it's finest.

How Trump’s Allies Are Winning the War Over Disinformation

Their claims of censorship have successfully stymied the effort to filter election lies online.

In the wake of the riot on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, 2021, a groundswell built in Washington to rein in the onslaught of lies that had fueled the assault on the peaceful transfer of power.

Social media companies suspended Donald J. Trump, then the president, and many of his allies from the platforms they had used to spread misinformation about his defeat and whip up the attempt to overturn it. The Biden administration, Democrats in Congress and even some Republicans sought to do more to hold the companies accountable. Academic researchers wrestled with how to strengthen efforts to monitor false posts.

Mr. Trump and his allies embarked instead on a counteroffensive, a coordinated effort to block what they viewed as a dangerous effort to censor conservatives.

They have unquestionably prevailed.

Waged in the courts, in Congress and in the seething precincts of the internet, that effort has eviscerated attempts to shield elections from disinformation in the social media era. It tapped into — and then, critics say, twisted — the fierce debate over free speech and the government’s role in policing content.

Projects that were once bipartisan, including one started by the Trump administration, have been recast as deep-state conspiracies to rig elections. Facing legal and political blowback, the Biden administration has largely abandoned moves that might be construed as stifling political speech.

While little noticed by most Americans, the effort has helped cut a path for Mr. Trump’s attempt to recapture the presidency. Disinformation about elections is once again coursing through news feeds, aiding Mr. Trump as he fuels his comeback with falsehoods about the 2020 election.

“The censorship cartel must be dismantled and destroyed, and it must happen immediately,” he thundered at the start of his 2024 campaign.

As implausible as I thought Trump's election was in 2016 I find it even more so that millions of people still believe the Big Lie after it being stripped of any claim to reality.

In other words Trump is protecting the 1st Amd from government toadies 'misinfo' campaign to stifle clarity and transparency ......~S~

IOW Trump is protecting his ability, and that of social media, to use demonstrable lies in order to keep his base loyal, compliant, and most importantly, disinformed. All the while doing it under the guise of 1st A protections.

Ruth: Yeah, it's the pushing of — the slow destruction of norms.

So, on that note, one of the discussion areas of the book is how disinformation is eroding the rule of law. And something that I've been thinking about these past weeks, is I don't think we've ever lived through such a concerted campaign to delegitimize a sitting president, and all of our democratic institutions. And so those MAGA operatives, those congresspeople, are out there using Congress, using the courts, showing their scorn. When they behave badly in court, they intend to behave badly, because they want to show that democratic justice is a joke. They're arrogant.

When you're already in the cult, it's too late to believe anything anyone else tells you.

Trump is the greatest gift to our enemies. Even Osama Bin Laden couldn't have dreamed for a more useful idiot if Allah himself were to grant him one wish when he was still alive.

true, the deep state has been lying about him for quite some time Kritch

~S~

Does the deep state extend to all of Trump's aides, his VP, his entire cabinet and the head of the DOJ and FBI, which he all hand picked? All of his "best people" don't have a single good thing to say about him. Even his own party hates him. You mean that deep state?
