Took Mrs T out for a meal last week and bought her a glass of pink wine.

£6.95 !!! Thats 8 or 9 dollars I think.

I watched her take a big swig and my eyes started watering.

"Savour it my love, take your time."

I think that is an outrageous amount to pay for a glass of wine.

It wasnt even fizzy.

rose' is all the rage now. Hubby makes it at home-----a bit of burgundy
mixed with Riesling-------don't tell anyone

Wine give me a headache for some reason so none for me thanks.

not at all uncommon. usually---by docs----attributed to the tyramine in
the wine. Do not drink wine if you are taking MAO inhibiters. I find
VODKA to be the best choice

It is easy to imagine why Mrs. T would take a big swig of wine.

A beer here is going for $6, I was told a few days ago.
It's a lot cheaper to buy a bottle, Tommy, and enjoy it at home.

Ah, another reason not to drink alcohol... the cost.

I save probably $20-30 every time my wife and I go out to eat because we don’t drink alcohol. Probably another $10-15 because we don’t get coffee and dessert.

Why do you go out ?

I had a pint of Estrella which is a Spanish lager and it cost me £4.

I've seen how much alcoholic beverages are at the store and that right there only makes me even more baffled over why people gravitate towards such a drink in the first place.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. All that I need is a good Cherry Coke and I am one happy Holly. :) :) :)

You pay for the vintner and the vintage.

If you don't want to pay so much, buy a 1,5 liter of cheap Gallo wine for under $5.

Go to one of the fancy new stadiums here and order a drink if you want real sticker shock....
