Pointing a high-powered rifle at law enforcement is not threatening?

This may have been mentioned already, but that policeman's superior officer saw this incident and told him to lower his weapon. He then quickly escorted him from the area.

Can you imagine what that guy might have seen and heard? How long was he on the front line that day?

I whole heartedly disagree! The militarization of local police forces is at the root of the problems in Ferguson and the source of friction between police and communities everywhere in this nation.

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. When all the cops have are military weapons and tactics, everyone looks like a terrorist. And then there is NO justice or even the hope of justice.

Skooker, do you have a link to that data? There have been reports of people taking guns to these riots, but someone showing a BB gun when the cop is getting swarmed is just a provocation beyond reason.
