Christians threaten U.S.; Supreme Court better listen or else

Christian leaders have signed a pledge promising "not to obey" the law if the Supreme Court rules that gay marriage should be legal.

“We’re sending a warning to the Supreme Court and frankly any court that crosses the line on the issue of marriage,” Staver told me.

We will not obey Christian leaders threaten civil disobedience if Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage Fox News

It seems these Christian leaders are demanding the right to treat gay people as second class citizens, or they'll threaten the stability of our nation.

If religion becomes enough justification to discriminate against an entire group of people, what else can it be used for? Who will be discriminated against next?
Yet your good with forcing people of faith to go against their faith, one of the founding principles of our nation, religious freedom, when you force some one to go against their faith, you no longer have religious freedom.
The can of worms is sitting at the top of the slippery slope.
Forcing people of faith to go against their faith? When did I say I was for that? :cuckoo:
I am trying to find any reference in the bible to same-sex marriage being 'immoral'. All I got was references to not having sex with a man as with a woman. Can you help?

In order to meet the definition, gay men need to grow a vagina so they can have sex the same as with a woman, and lesbian women need to grow dicks. But human biology begs to differ on this being possible.

Okay. I am curious about the logistics of this whole "we will not obey" thing.

Let's say the Supreme Court says gays have a right to equal protection of the laws.

Then two guys get married, and next April they will be filling out a joint tax return. Are the "Christians" going to bust down their door and rip the Turbo Tax disc out of their computer?

Two guys get married, and then one of them dies. Are the "Christians" going to steal the survivor's mail and burn his Social Security survivor's benefit check?

Exactly how will this "we will not obey" work?

Yeah, but how do you 'not obey' someone else getting married?

I'm not religious, but I will not recognize gay marriages as being legitimate.
Fine. As long as the state does.
So if the state recognizes same sex marriage but the people don't what have you really won?

Equality.

Does not exist in nature!
Of course gay marriage does not exist in nature, marriage is a human concept!

Or are you talking about gay acts? Because that happens all the time in nature.

Here's another interesting biblical point: there's no prohibition against lesbianism. Or any mention whatsoever.

Laughing....seriously! It could have only gotten worse if he'd said 'laserdisc' or 'cartridge'.

I don't BUY vivid...they just have the same policies as the bible.

I have two of Sweetheart's titles in my porn lockbox.

Actually, it does.

Romans 1:26

"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another."

"Even their women" suggests that things are going really bad when even women turn gay.

So when blacks refuse to follow the law in places like Ferguson and Baltimore that is ok But let Christians do it and it threatens the Government and the whole Country right?
