China providing help to nations facing the coronavirus

China is providing help to nations facing the coronavirus. As China is emerging from the coronavirus pandemic, within their borders, they are aggressively providing aid and help to Asian and European countries.
Irony, in that if China had done more when the virus was discovered, it may not be a pandemic.Now they are playing politics to their benefit.
European and Asian countries are saying China is stepping in where the US used to provide this kind of help.
Trump's policy is working, the world is not looking to the US for help. In this case the US is in no situation to provide it.
China is stepping up to fill the void.
What will the cost be to the US after the coronavirus subsides.
Or will there only be benefits for the US not being the number one country looked to help with the world's problems.
