cdc director: second ebola patient is reason to panic

They even knew in Texas this person had Ebola and the transmission happened during care. How more easily can this spread when an unsuspecting medical community faces this in more rural areas? There was a survey of Nurses nationally and most feel unprepared with over a third reporting a lack of protective garb.

I think every new Ebola patient should immediately be transferred to the White House, because they have lots of extra bedrooms there, and because there's no cause for alarm as all the lefties keep telling us, and because it'd be a great publicity op for the president to display his empathy for black folk immigrant types. You know our Great Leader would be up for that, right? Right?

Read the article and it seems the need to panic is all in your mind. Courageous people usually don't panic about things, they keep a cool head and lead the panic stricken jellyfish out of danger.

Panic is unwarranted and not helpful. Strengthening protocol and equipping health care professionals with supplies and training would be helpful.

Looks like some might be willing to admit it is a dangerous illness. Was tired of hearing that it's no big deal and no where near as bad as the swine flu.

No one is panicking, except maybe the CDC, and they are ones in the know so this definition is a concern. Obama should panic because it will hurt him politically. Has he bothered to put quarantine rules back in place?

I don't see any courageous people in the administration. I see inept people who have no idea what they're doing and spend more time attempting to minimize things more than solving things.

Meanwhile, we still have a serious respiratory illness continuing to threaten lives. A young child just died because of it. Of course, since the most likely source of that was the illegal aliens Obama shipped all over the country without proper medical checks, the media isn't spending much time discussing it.

Obama's administration really has an ability to pick the wrong choice routinely.
If you knew a fucking thing about communicable disease then you would know how ignorant it is to spread blame around, might as well blame Obama for bear attacks or birds pooping on your car. We have crowded the world with humans who like to travel, nothing would have prevented Ebola from spreading to America, we just have to deal with it.

It was a statement regarding his entire administration and responses to all crisis. Blame assignment is important, as it will lead to better protocol in healthcare. Pushing the administration to actually work on the problem would be nice too. See all they do is deflect blame instead of addressing the problem.

Some libs around here repeatedly said it would never reach the US and that it wasn't much of a concern. Why the cavalier attitude when Obama wasn't restricting travel or putting the quarantine rules back into place?

Nothing more than Republican political ignorance trying to dissuade fact that the biggest fuck-up is from the State of the indited Governor.

Who said Ebola would never reach the USA?

LINK pretty please.

I haven't read any liberal posts on this board that said that we would never have a case of Ebola in America, so where are you getting this from?
