The 2nd amendment tells us quite clearly that no impediments can be placed between nuts with assault weapons and a classroom full of 4th graders. If only the 4th graders had been armed..California has long been trying to deprive poor and working people of their right to self defense. Looks like they may have finally succeeded.
As always, black and brown people will pay the heaviest price, which is, of course, exactly what the state wants.
Thank goodness this 11 year old boy was armed. The 2nd amendment tells us quite clearly that no impediments can be placed between nuts with assault weapons and a classroom full of 4th graders. If only the 4th graders had been armed..
Look at California..milking the gun crowd for money..most of which will be spent is ways that make them gnash their teeth..gottta love it~

California will become the first state in the nation to impose an excise tax on gun and ammunition sales under a measure signed into law Tuesday by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Starting next July, the state will collect an 11% tax on retail sales of guns, gun parts and ammunition. The money would be used for gun-violence prevention, enhanced school safety and programs geared toward victims of gun violence.
The tax won’t apply to sales made to law-enforcement agencies and their current or former officers. The state already charges a $37.19 fee on each firearm sale to fund law enforcement.
There is already a federal excise tax of 10% on wholesale prices for handguns and 11% for long guns and ammunition, which go toward conservation and hunter education programs. In addition, several local governments impose excise taxes on gun sales, including Seattle and Tacoma in Washington and Cook County in Illinois.

Oh boy! Another post telling us what Democrats were 100 years ago. How much mileage do you think you can get out of the fact that Lincoln was a Republican? Back in the day, you would have been a fundraiser for J.W. Booth.Yes…democrats have always used taxes to deny access to Rights. The democrats used Poll Taxes to keep blacks from voting and now they are using taxes to keep Americans from owning guns.

Those are called anecdotes. Was that the only shooting in America on that day?
Proving you scum hate civil rights.Look at California..milking the gun crowd for money..most of which will be spent is ways that make them gnash their teeth..gottta love it~

Then how is CA instituting a new law taxing guns?
And what if they decide to make the tax on ammo 1000%?
The argument to be made is whether or not the additional taxation puts an undue burden on the ability to purchase arms.
That would depend on the individual. Some counties and EU countries actually REQUIRE you to own a gun, and not surprisingly, have among the lowest gun violence.
No, no.The argument to be made is whether or not the additional taxation puts an undue burden on the ability to purchase arms.
