I had a friend once who was molested in his early/mid-teens by a friend of his mother's, and later by a high school teacher. I dunno. OJ Simpson was acquitted in the face of overwhelming and irrefutable evidence. Why? Good looking, personal, popular guy with a sympathetic jury.

Lyle and Erik Menendez each had hung juries in their first trial. Why? Because they were clean cut, handsome young men and the poor things were ORPHANS! Nevermind that they were orphans because they murdered their parents in an unbelievably savage and brutal murder.

To me, rape implies some sort of forceful sexual entry against ones wishes.
