I'm sure that if I'd found myself, an American used to proper and high tech medical care, stuck in Kenya because they wouldn't allow me on a plane and forced to give birth to my baby in some backwoods clinic, I'd get the hell out of there as quickly as I could. All women react to childbirth differently as well. If Stanley Ann was healthy and hadn't gained a ton of weight, she may have felt well enough to travel. From the way Obama described her in his books, she seems the type that would have been pissed enough at being told she couldn't leave, that she would've done whatever necessary to get out.

Let's say, I am a Natural born us citizen who is pregnant, I am married to a US National, we go on vacation overseas, and i prematurely deliver my child over seas....are these people really saying that my child would NOT be a natural born citizen under those conditions and there is no exception??? While if I went overseas and adopted a child from overseas and brought him home, my adopted child would be considered a natural born citizen of the united states?
What makes mccain a natural born citizen? Certainly not the constitution's definition of a natural born citizen...that has to be noted. It was rules and regs that were instituted AFTER the constitution....
If mrs obama was a usa citizen and wanted to return back to her home in America but the Kenyan Government STOPPED her from returning home to deliver her baby because she was too far along in pregnancy, as you all have contended, don't you THINK that there would be a measure of relief for a Mrs OBama to have her child noted as a natural born citizen if she got home as soon as she was allowed to by the Kenyan govt?

REGARDLESS it was impossible for mrs obama to make it to the usa from Kenya in 4 days or less, file all the legal paperwork, get all the paperwork approved by the health dept for them to file it with the registrars office by august 8....

It does not matter anyway, as even if he were born in Kenya he would still be a NATURAL Born Citizen. He was born to an American Citizen. That alone grants citizenship. No matter where the birth occurs.
But the conspiracy that they knew to register him in Hawaii cause some day it would matter is hilarious indeed. Also the one where the Governor and Lt. Governor, both Republicans that supported McCain would help protect Obama in his cover up is even Funnier.

- Barack Obama's elusive long-form birth certificate that would establish his eligibility to serve as president as a "natural born citizen" is the hottest discussion topic at the Fox News Channel's website.
Under the heading, "Should Obama release his birth certificate? Or is this old news?," nearly 1,000 comments have been posted - all of them since White House press secretary Robert Gibbs was questioned about the document earlier this week by WND White House correspondent Les Kinsolving.
The rush of posts at the Fox News site makes it the "most talked about" issue, according to a ranking on the right side of the page.
One contributor to the page had this to say: "Not old news, just a burning question that needs an answer, and while your at it, get some of that other hidden, sealed information uncovered like, his passport to Indonesia, his college records, etc. There are so many unanswered questions, and frankly you all dropped the ball before the election."
The visibility of the Obama birth certificate issue has also been raised by a new national billboard campaign initiated by Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND. Launched just over a week ago, the campaign has raised about $55,000 and begun erecting billboards that ask the question, "Where's the birth certificate?"
That campaign followed one launched months earlier to collect names on an electronic petition demanding accountability and transparency on the issue. So far, that petition has gathered nearly 400,000 names.
