I'm just here doing a public service. God stories offer you more. I offer you less but it is the truth.
I'm not here to suggest that any one of you waste a single second "following" my path. I am here suggesting that the time you have on this earth is ALL of the time you will EVER have and to waste even a second of that most precious commodity is a crime.
God is a silly lie but the "heaven" lie is the dangerous one. It sucks people into hedging a bet on a ticket that will NEVER get cashed in. There is no collection window when you die. There is less than nothing. You will not lie there cold in pitch darkness in a box underground. YOU will not exist any more in any form. Your only future after you die is in the minds of those that knew you. That is but a shadow...a reflection of who you are anyway. No one really knows anyone 100%.
There is certainly nothing wrong with doing good for your fellow man with the limited time you have here on earth. If you are doing all this good believing you will have an eternity somewhere for your efforts then you have just wasted your time.
Haven't any of you noticed a striking resemblance between a church and a gambling casino?
They don't build those big impressive casinos because the house is losing. Those churches didn't come cheap either.

your arguments for evolution, projected by you as only a physical alteration would also seem a waste of time than just remaining forever the same ... or that the precursor to change is not a Spiritual evolvement as well.
to bad for you.
.
Most religious people do not "evolve". They submit. "Give themselves to God and Jesus". "God's plan for me" Etc....
Calling THAT spiritual evolution is more like the cow that is climbing the ramp into the slaughterhouse for freedom.
The only aspect of submitting to a religion that vaguely resembles evolution is that most people do it out of fear. Fear plays a significant part in much evolution in that escaping from a predator forces change. Some evolution occurs when taking abnormal chances finding something to eat which is a reaction to the fear of starving to death.
The fear of dying and given false hope of an afterlife is very strong in Jews, Christians and Muslims.
Even Buddhism promises an afterlife in the form of reincarnation.
Most religion backs up the afterlife scam by offering some sort of prayer or holiday to acknowledge the departed.
Calling THAT spiritual evolution is more like the cow that is climbing the ramp into the slaughterhouse for freedom.
it is an abdication that at first glance seems to reflect your own earlier comment ...

anotherwords there is a Spiritual component associated with evolution that then translates to physical change ... and (perhaps) there is a repository, the Everlasting where the Spiritual evolution to Life begins and which may be readmitted after the present physiology perishes.
and therefore for a Spirit a life without physical restraint is not only possible but a goal if so desired.
.
You actually believe that if you play your cards right you become a spiritual entity so when you die you are able to scoot around in spirit form? Because you "desire" it to be so?
Sure you can Sport. Ya...you should really go with that. You should COUNT on it.
I suppose you label all your advances towards this pie in the sky evolution.
I see it as levels of brain washing. You are just step by step making yourself insane. I could see you eventually reaching a level of complete belief like those nitwits that flew the planes into the towers on 9/11. Instead of believing some trash about a bunch of virgins you of course being so much more reasonable will go to heaven and see your relatives and pets that died.
You idiots think the Muslims are stupid because instead of YOUR version of heaven they get suckered in with the kind of rewards a third world goat herder would long for.
What BOTH of you can't see is that it isn't the reward that's stupid... it's the same belief you both have that you will get any reward at all after you die. Both of you have been brainwashed to a level that you are both clinically insane.
But you're not smart enough to prove a theory you claim is indisputable.Again, I never claimed I DO have proof. YOU are the one who claims to have proof, although you clearly are not able to provide it.Finally he admits he doesn't know wtf he's talking about!
Oh and YOU do? You don't have a single scrap of real evidence of a god yet YOU are correct and I don't know what I am talking about? That assumption is based on pure nonsense. Your daydreams about an all powerful sky fairy is just that ..daydreams. My interest in science is based ON REALITY and actual real evidence. Now WHO really knows more about reality? Sorry..your god doesn't count. THAT isn't REAL.
I'm not a scientist entrusted with making discoveries in that field. BUT I am smart enough to know that a fossil is real and sky fairies are not.
Give it a rest. It isn't my responsibility to have all the answers. I've seen enough evidence to be on the right side of this issue. You are just pissed off that scientists are burying your god with every old bone they dig up. Face it. You just want something to be that just simply ISN'T.

what causes the changes you refer to as evolution, not to the same specimen but from one to the next ?
what is the process, evolution you are talking about - if it is not Spiritual ?
.
I don't believe from the evidence I've seen that there are wholesale leaps from one species to another totally different being if that is what you are suggesting. All of the change in evolution has come in spurts where a "spurt" might take more than a million years from what I can understand. I'm not an expert in DNA changes so you would probably be better served asking an expert in the field.
The scientists are clearly on the track of filling in the missing links the religists are so fond of bringing up. To me it is sort of a puzzle that once a few of the places on the board are filled in one can easily guess where the puzzle is going. The religists seem to be fighting the evidence as it is discovered tooth and nail. I have no such agenda. Sure as a curious human being with enough education to basically follow many of the directions scientists are following I try to keep up as I would like to see a more complete filling in of the evolutionary puzzle like most Americans.
We are not a nation of frightened goat herders. We lead the world in education and discovery. I welcome the results as they appear.

the point being made is change does not occur to a single specimen over time but the change is being transferred from one (unaffected) specimen to a new altered specimen with a predetermined outcome with results - whether radical or simple the change takes place.
anotherwards, there is a Spiritual overlap between generations that allows for "evolution" to occur.

Most of the casinos I know of are built with a heavy investment of taxpayer dollars for the 'good' of the local government and not necessarily for the good of the people. Those government buildings that you worship at as you demand more and more taxes to 'do good' are built with tax dollars also. Your religion of government intervention costs me more than any religion that uses churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, etc,... has ever cost me because they only take money that's given freely.
Charity is given freely and from the heart not at the point of a government sword.
