BBC's Definition of a Progressive

Look at other countries with a higher standard of living, a better quality of life, than the US. Then bitch:

The 15 Countries With The Highest Quality Of Life

Standard of living =f(White+ Christian)
Actually it's brains+decency.

Ranking on Heritage Index of Economic Freedom

Austria 28
Findland 24
New Zealand 3
United Kingdom 10
Iceland 20
Netherlands 16
Denmark 12
United States 11
Switzerland 4
Norway 32
Canada 6
Sweden 26
Australia 5

Actually it's mostly the degree of economic freedom they enjoy.

As you can see, 4 of these countries are in the top 10, and 11 are in the top 20 in term of economic freedom. Government doesn't improve the quality of life. Freedom does.

Of course, your study is total horseshit, so the point is academic.

Lots of Socialism in that bunch (mixed economies). Apparently, it works eh?

Where could I go to see unregulated capitalism...
Somalia...

Funny, a country in the midst of a war, I'd call that capitalism interrupted.
Not at all. it's unregulated, just what you desire versus the totalitarian nightmare you believe exists here.

Ah, the good old days...

Somalia is highly regulated by a collection of Feudal warlord. No one sells a bushel of wheat there without the approval of some master.

The us is a pretty good place to live. It is one of a few great countries to live in. Its not the only great country out there but can be a really great place if you are wealthy.
It's also the best place to be if you are poor.

And? The US falls well above the median in that survey, also has the most disposable income, individual freedom and opportunity for economic advancement than any of them.
Apparently you missed the point that unregulated capitalism isn't the only way to a decent country...

The more capitalism is regulated, the less decent the country is.

No government regulation, your dream come true. And damn little capitalism either, since it can't exist in a vacuum meaning, without government and what it provides that taxation pays for...

Nope, entirely untrue, almost the exact opposite of true. Unregulated capitalism is this:

The very opposite of decent...

The number shows the degree of socialism. The USA has plenty of socialism as well. That's what makes this country suck.

Actually it sucks because we have very poor socialism, not too much.

That's unregulated capitalism 100 years ago when people didn't earn enough to feed their children unless the children worked. Apparently you would prefer them to have starved.

There's no such thing as "rich socialism."

As I pointed out, it has plenty of regulation. Every warlord regulates every transaction that occurs. You don't start a business without giving him his cut.

Nope, but there is "bad", and we've got it. And socialism for the rich is huge here, it's what keeps the powers that be in power.

Then you wouldn't like that either, leaving you nowhere to live happily but here, all alone...

What a fool, capitalism predates government and taxes. People traded amongst themselves long before they joined into tribes or villages.
