It was pretty much of a gentleman's bloodbath last night on ABC.
Bush took Trump behind the woodshed on his attempt to (ab)use eminent domain when Trump tried to oust an old widow from her home to create casino parking for Trump's PRIVATE enterprises. Trump assured America in his reply that all states "in the way of" the Keystone Pipeline proposal should get ready if he's in Office: eminent domain (sorry Native American lands, you'll have to bite it like the widow almost did)
Christie mopped the floor with Rubio's robotic blunders and "Boywonderism"....it was...just...God...sad...Rubio knew it was coming and acted like he played hooky at school and didn't study for the big test; even with the questions provided to him beforehand. I was just stunned and puzzled at the Boy-blunder.
The true leaders stood out. Kasich, Christie & the unelectable name "Bush" were cool as cucumbers in the face of adversity while the amateur league were left stammering, flustered and chanting "tough guy" or "Obama is a failure" as a cover to the easy blows the Big Boys landed on them. The chasm between experienced already-trained leadership of the People vs self-interested hopefuls of the junior-league was gaping and wide last night. We don't need self-interested or immature leadership..(or too mature, sorry dems!) this time around the block.
Discuss.
