As of today the Walker criminal investigation....

A former spokeswoman for Gov. Scott Walker was granted immunity Thursday in connection with a Milwaukee County investigation that has led to criminal charges against six people close to Walker.

Fran McLaughlin, who served as Walker’s spokeswoman from 2007 to 2010 when he was the Milwaukee County executive, asked for and received immunity, according to online court records. She is the 13th person whom prosecutors have agreed not to charge in exchange for their testimony in their so-called John Doe investigation, in which hearings and court documents are private and only immunity grants are made public.

The investigation centers on several aides and associates to Walker before he was elected governor in 2010. The allegations range from campaigning on county time to embezzling money from a veterans program.

........... has resulted in six indictments, 15 felony charges, and two convictions.

Since September of 2010 the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (MJS) has been detailing an ongoing "John Doe" criminal investigation being run out of the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office involving Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's former staff and associates. The wide-ranging investigation has included allegations of campaign finance malfeasance, embezzlement of veterans funds, bid-rigging, and even child enticement during the period when Walker served as Milwaukee County Executive, but was running for governor.

On June 1, 2012, the MJS broke the story that Milwaukee County prosecutors were forced to move from a regular investigation to a secret "John Doe" criminal investigation more than two years ago after being stonewalled by the County Executive's office. Court records released in the trial of one of the defendants showed that prosecutors said Walker's office had been "unwilling or unable" to turn over requested records. This new information contradicts Walker's repeated claims that he has been "fully cooperating" with the investigation since the start.

As of today, this ongoing criminal investigation has resulted in six indictments, 15 felony charges, and two convictions.

YOU LOST--get over it. You've lost 3 elections during the past 2 years in Wisconsin. The recall of the State supreme court judge--YOU LOST--the attempt to recall 8 state republican senate members to regain control of the senate--YOU LOST. You LOST again in a very big way last night.

I am certain the taxpayers are getting very tired of all these union democrat antics--because it is they that have to pay for all of this. They're just doing a repeat of what they did to Sarah Palin--who spent most of her time in court--and every single one of the frivolous charges that were brought against her--she won--and at an enormous cost to the taxpayers of that state.

Walker.

The takeaway is that someone other then Walker is going to fall on a sword for this. Nothing will happen to Walker..and he'll finish out his term.

Although Republicans are gloating like crazy..however..he's pretty much done. Walker, I suspect, will blaze out. And it will energize Democrats across the country.

The takeaway is that you demagogues have nothing but figure if you scream bullshit loud enough and often enough, some people might foolishly believe you.

Walker will be reelected, and you know it. This recall ensures that. You morons shot your foot off.

The lesson for you demagogues is that when you work to polarize the people, you better be sure that you have the bigger pole - in this case you don't.

You succeeded in your campaign of hatred and division, but you are the primary object of ire for the largest group of people.

Since you have a history of not knowing the real facts, these are probably just more of your lies. Walker won, get over it. The socialists and unions lost, boo hoo hoo.

Hey Chris if anyone needs to be investigated it's obama. I will wait on your thread with your findings. OH hell I doubt you will care about that so here you go.

Here are 79 examples of Barack Obama’s corruption, lying, lawbreaking, and cronyism. « Dan from Squirrel Hill's Blog
1) In April 2009, antiwar activists who helped elect Obama accused him of using the same “off the books” funding as his predecessor George W. Bush when Obama requested an additional $83.4 billion from Congress for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan – a provision which Obama had voted against when he was a Senator.

2) In May 2010, it was reported that the Obama administration had selected KBR, a former subsidiary of Halliburton, for a no-bid contract worth as much as $568 million through 2011 for military support services in Iraq, just hours after the Justice Department had said it would pursue a lawsuit accusing the Houston-based company of taking kickbacks from two subcontractors on Iraq-related work.

3) While running for President, Obama had promised that he would not have any lobbyists working in his administration. However, by February 2010, he had more than 40 lobbyists working in his administration.

4) Although Obama claims to support the Occupy Wall St. movement, the truth is that he has raised more money from Wall St. than any other candidate during the last 20 years.

5) Under President Obama, abuse of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay became even worse than it had been under President Bush

It might be. In fact, since it appears to be politically driven, let's say it's probable.

Do you support politically driven "investigations" by public prosecutors Chrissy?
