My parents took me to a restaurant when I was about 12 or 13 and I order "Steak Tartar" or something like that. Sounded good to me... steak! Anyway, when they brought it to me, it was a huge meat loaf with the outside cooked... barely and the inside was literally raw. It was gross. They offered to take it back because I refused to eat it, but I would not let them take it back.

Needless to say, that was the last time I ordered anything tartar.
