The group Not My President’s Day announced a rally scheduled for Monday in Boston had to be canceled, according to a statement Thursday.

The rally would have been in the Boston Common from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. EST. The group announced it was not granted a permit, but it’s also worth noting that only 173 of the 1,200 individuals invited to the event said they planned on attending.

“We were unable to get a permit in time for the rally, so officially, we’re not hosting an event in Boston. However, we do have one planned in NYC!” The official statement read.

There are other locations where the rallies are set to take place: the famous DuPont Circle in Washington, D.C., and in New York City and Chicago.

“Throughout history, our Presidents have progressively sought to better represent the people. While there have been setbacks and successes, the people have always stood up for what is right. To honor Presidents Day, we need to honor the legacy of ideal United States of America,” the official statement asserted. “One where all individuals are treated fairly, equally, and respected.”

Looks like their anti Trump train is running out of steam. Meanwhile, the Trump Train keeps on chugging along.
