AHA! 9-Year-Old Girl Accidentally Kills Shooting Range Instructor with Uzi

Gun nuts. Who else?

9-Year-Old Girl Accidentally Kills Shooting Range Instructor - ABC News

A 9-year-old girl vacationing with her family accidentally shot and killed an instructor at a shooting range, authorities said.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, the instructor –- identified as Charles Vacca, 39 –- was standing next to the girl, teaching her how to use an automatic Uzi. The girl’s parents stood nearby, capturing video of the experience.
In my opinion one of the two things is true - either 1. nine year old girl is retarded, or 2. carefully trained how to shoot the instructor, ever since I read in your post about them being on vacation, I suspect 2. another good way for liberals to suppress gun rights.

On a second thought, the instructor perhaps was not too smart to give a 9 year old a weapon to begin with, but in USSR we shot guns when I was 9 years old - they had an instructor and targets, only simpler bullets, like a bb gun. this is definitely a plot and a premeditated murder, no doubt in my mind. America is a sick country and neocons won't admit it.

Was this an NRA-trained instructor?

I am not a fan of the NRA, but they don't train anyone.

That's not true. The NRA runs the Eddie Eagle gun safety program.

Eddie Eagle GunSafe Eddie Eagle GunSafe

Why are you so dishonest? I mean it is so unnecessary

Anyone may teach The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program, and NRA membership is not required

I reiterate, the NRA does not train anyone

You're a liar. The Eddie Eagle program was developed and is promoted by the NRA - and many programs themselves are run by NRA members.

Who said differently? But the NRA does NOT train people. They have a program that people can use to help teach gun safety to kids yes, but that isn't training anyone. In fact you don't even have to be IN the NRA to use their program.

I repeat my question. Why do you have to be so dishonest? Do you really think you are making any point beyond proving that you have to lie to even try to make a point?

Absolutely NO ONE reading this thread could legitimately conclude that a program created by the NRA but taught by people who aren't members of the NRA as well as NRA members is the NRA teaching anyone anything.

My God, not only are you a dishonest person, you are one who has to argue over minutiae because you aren't smart enough to have a legitimate discussion so instead you must try to bog people down in stupid , petty debates that mean nothing.

The NRA does not train anyone in how to use a weapon.

That is my last post on the subject

Trust this. Every liberal is laughing about this story. All of them.

I tell you now as I have been saying for a long time. Liberals deserve absolutely zero respect. Not any kind of respect.

They are nothing but deranged brainwashed hacks. All of them. No exception. Just little pawns being used to usher in socialism. Nothing more. Absolutely nothing.

I resent your entire post.
My wife is a liberal and is quite proud of that fact. My wife is also a multi-gun owner. Her position on gun control is that no new laws need to be introduced, just enforce the existing laws.
But according to you she's a brainwashed hack.
The only brainwashed hack in the room is you! When someone paints a group/demographic with a broad brush, complete with fucking bullshit that isn't even close to real life,,they are an absolute brainwashed hack.
Get a life and explore the world and it's people and while you're doing that, throw out your preconceived opinion about people you don't even know.

Fuck you.

Let's break this down for a moment. A nine year old, in the USA, is being trained to use an Uzi on full automatic.

Trained for WHAT??

I repeat, WHAT??

Easy now. Don't act like she was at some terrorist camp here. She wasn't being trained for anything more than how to use a gun, exactly no different than if she was being trained to ride a horse. You wouldn't claim that she was being trained to invade DC on horseback would you?

That wasn't my point, Yogi. There is no legitimate purpose for training a 9 year old to use an Uzi on full automatic;

I find it objectionable that they are calling it training, or instruction.

The wonderful thing about our country is that we don't have to have a legitimate purpose for things we do. Have you ever taken an Uzi out and fired it full auto? It's fun. Completely pointless and expensive, but fun. My guess would be the parents enjoyed shooting and wanted their daughter to learn to enjoy it to. Nine is a little young for such a gun IMHO , but the cold hard reality again is that instructor failed in his job, If I were the instructor I would have declined to let her fire such a weapon on my range.

Yeah, its just like Secty Kerry said - You're allowed to be stupid in the United States.

And, its damn stupid to give a little kid an Uzi.

The NRA does do training, as one can easily understand from the website:

Education and Training Education and Training

Education & Training
Whether you're a new or prospective gun owner or hunter in search of training, whatever your age or level of expertise, whatever type of firearm you're interested in, NRA's Education & Training Division is here to help you.

Training Department
From beginner to developing competitor, the NRA Training Department develops safe, ethical, responsible shooters through a network of more than 97,000 instructors and range safety officers, more than 5,700 coaches, and more than 1,800 training counselors. NRA Training Counselors recruit and train instructors to teach NRA's basic firearm courses. NRA Coaches, in turn, develop competitors at the club, high school, collegiate and national levels.

Hunter Services
With over 2.3 million members who hunt, the NRA offers hunters a wide range of programs addressing all aspects of hunting, including youth hunter skills, advanced skills training and the conservation of our natural and wildlife resources. All Hunter Services Department programs work toward the common goal of instilling and promoting the skills and ethics that will ensure the continuance of America's proud hunting heritage.

Women's Programs
It hasn't always been easy for women to break into the world of shooting sports. But now with organized programs for women, by the women of the NRA, it's as easy as can be. Whether a woman's interest is personal safety, gun safety, gun knowledge, marksmanship, hunting, or recreational or competitive shooting, the NRA has a variety of programs and activities that all encourage female participation at all skill levels.

Youth Programs
The NRA helps America's adult leaders and national youth serving organizations set up shooting programs, introduces the first-time or intermediate shooter to a lifetime of recreational and competitive opportunities, and develops programs for NRA youth members and NRA-affiliated youth clubs.

Gunsmithing
NRA short term gunsmithing schools offer courses on topics such as general gunsmithing, bluing, stockmaking, checkering, engraving, and parkerizing. More specialized courses focus on topics such as accurizing the AR-15 rifle; accurizing varmint rifles; fine tuning single-action revolvers and long guns for cowboy shoots; accurizing the Colt Model 1911 pistol; and English Gunsmithing. Law enforcement armorer classes are also offered.

Christ almighty you are as anal as they come.

Here's an idea, who cares?

According to your title you find that amusing. WTF is wrong with you? Two families are likely shattered and you're laughing.

What a dirtbag

My "title" was meant to display amazement at the criminal behavior of many gun-nuts who put their children in harms way and end up killing them!
My amazement comes from the epic stupidity that leads you to conclude that one guy acting stupidly means all 2nd Amendment supporters are stupid.

One guy acting stupidly is one too many... isn't it? It's all too common nowdays with so many freaking guns out there. Live by the gun, die by the gun or so it seems.

Thank God our home is a gun-free zone!

Thank God the thug is coming to your house instead of mine.

Okay, there are too many damn threads on this. If I already posted this, I apologize but --

I just got this from a friend:

I heard an interview with the owner of the range tonight. He is defending the practice of anyone from 8- 80 having the right to experience firing an uzi. A big part of his market is children's birthday parties. Unfreekingreal.
Their website is currently off line - www.bulletsandburgers.com

Some interesting reviews on trip adviser:
"This is a great place for young children to learn to fire Uzis. With this kind of training, kids will never have to worry about bullying in school."

"all the guns I shot were exactly what I imagined. I especially loved the auto ak47, 249SAW and .50 Barret sniper rifles. the burger was excellent and I even got to ride the biggest monster truck in the world!!! Excellent experience, only regret I have is not purchasing more ammo."

So, now we're teaching our kids to SHOOT bullies?

Be sure to follow the link.

Parties for bachlorette and birthday parties.

This is some sick stuff.

You scaredy-cat little he-men-wannabes need to get a grip. Come out from under the bed or out of mommy's basement and face the world just like the rest of us do.

Seriously, this is getting comical AND way too tragic.

Remember...Guns dont kill people

Again with that stupid quote?

Ok, try this...

"Guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people".

Get a pistol and put it on the table and you sit there and don't move until it goes off and kills someone by itself.

My condolences to his family, friends, loved ones, those who knew him or had contact with him or cared about him.

My condolences to the girl and her family and loved ones who might be affected by this tragedy.

It was not her fault.

It was not her parents' fault.

It was the victim's fault.

He wasn't an NRA Certified firearms instructor and he violated a couple of important principles when he was in that video.

His hand was on her back, not her shoulder. He was on the wrong side of the gun.

The news report I watched pointed out these errors and maybe others I wasn't able to catch.

I'm afraid he was a victim of his own ignorance.

God bless him and may he R.I.P.

It wasn't me who put that child in harms way, was it? It was the fucking, stupid, moron parents, wasn't it?
you know I read sunday that some kid was killed on their bicycle. damn parents never should have bought him that bike for Christmas and put him in harms way.

So you are using this to criticize people who believe in the 2nd amendment? Typical commie.

Post where anyone has criticized those who believe in the Second Amendment.

Post a link.

Do it.

You can't because no one has.

If you think this horrible tragedy has anything at all to do with the Second Amendment, you really need to educate yourself.

Hey, nutters ... if your kid wants to tie a towel around his neck and jump off the roof, do you let him do that too?

Seriously, who is in charge of the children of gun nutters? There's one here who says he leaves loaded guns strewn throughout his home.

Where are the adults?

Meanwhile, back in the real world;
51 million people who own guns didn't kill anyone yesterday

And that's supposed to be a comfort to the families of the more than 30 who were killed by guns today?

What is WRONG with you people?

Is there some magic number of dead people that will finally get through to you?

Why? Do you actually know the exact number of gun ban supporters there are in the USA?
