from: Five Reasons Why Ridicule Is The Proper Response To Global Warming Alarmists

KERRY JACKSON 3/07/2017

If it seems that the climate radicals are acting desperately because they sense that their "movement" is dying, then that's probably an accurate assessment. From EPA employees threatening resistance to Donald Trump's presidency to junk-science guy Bill Nye appearing on Fox News to tell the world that humans are fully responsible for "the speed that climate change is happening," the irrational behavior is overflowing.

Of course the alarmists can't give up their shrillness. They're still bullies who try to marginalize, shame and silence those who don't agree with their narrative that man is dangerously overheating the planet through his greenhouse gas emissions.

But they're the ones who should be mocked. Here's why:

  • They're wrong. The devastating heat they predicted simply hasn't happened...
  • They've hidden their true agenda. The zealots want to destroy capitalism and take over the world's economy...
  • They're hypocrites. Every year, delegates, many of them on private jets, fly to Davos, Switzerland...
  • They're authoritarians... ...prosecuting "deniers."... ...through the use of government police power...
  • Leonardo DiCaprio. Here's a high school dropout who's become fabulously rich doing what kindergartners do every day — pretending to be someone else...

Some find it hard to say whether this topic belongs on an environmental or a political thread becuase the topic is the political corruption of science. My personal experiance has been one of repeatedly searching for anyone to examine the scientific aspects of the AGW theory only to find my self labeled a 'denier' on the pay of oil interests.

There are many interesting scientific issues w/ the study of climate and with AGW there only remains acrimony, and the proof of this is the fact that no AGW advocate on this thread will avoid name-calling.

Ridicule is the only rational response to the state of modern climate science...it has become politicized to the degree that it can no longer be called science...pseudoscientific propaganda more accurately describes it.

They're wrong. The devastating heat they predicted simply hasn't happened...

Incorrect. The climate has behaved very close to what the models predicted. In contrast, the climate has behaved nothing like how deniers said it world. Deniers have failed as badly as it's possible to fail, why mainstream science has been stellar.

They've hidden their true agenda. The zealots want to destroy capitalism and take over the world's economy...

Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo ....

When loony conspiracy theories are all you have, it's clear you have nothing.

They're hypocrites. Every year, delegates, many of them on private jets, fly to Davos, Switzerland...

Only the dumbest people on the planet babble the "You don't live in a cave, so you're a hypocrite"! stupidity. Nobody is demanding anyone give up modern technology, and deniers should stop lying about that.

They're authoritarians... ...prosecuting "deniers."... ...through the use of government police power...

Never happened, and only the most flagrant cult liars claim it did. If they're not lying, they can point to this prosecution of deniers. But they won't, because it's just another of the frauds deniers always push.

Expat, will you condemn the attempts of the Republican party to jail climate scientists for doing science that is inconvenient to TheParty?

Will any denier here condemn it?

No. Without exception, every denier here is a proud authoritarian, a Stalinist down to the core of their being.

Leonardo DiCaprio. Here's a high school dropout who's become fabulously rich doing what kindergartners do every day — pretending to be someone else...

Who cares? Honest people talk about the science. Cult wimps rant about people they don't like.

Conclusion? The OP is a cult retard. You really can't call him a liar, because he's literally too stupid to know he's lying. The cult fed him a load of crap, and he brainlessly believed, like he always does.

And now he's going to cry at us. Lord knows the snowflake can't discuss the science. Idiot propaganda and whining are all he's ever been capable of.

The AGW "predictions" work as follows:

1. Identify top weather story
2. Shriek, "manmade global warming!!!"
3. Repeat

20 years ago, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh who said that the global warming hoax was so absurd, they only way to respond to them is just be even more absurd than they are.....which is exactly what Ive been doing to them for all these years now. And for damn sure its a hoot.......nobody has more fun than me in this forum.....for years now.

Curious folks checking into this thread will note a common theme amongst the hard core global warming alarmists.......the consistent exploding of heads during responses.:eek-52::eek-52: Check it out......:bye1:.....rants about "retard" this and "insane idiot" that............"brainless cultists" this and "irrational loons" that.............

Ask yourself..........if you are winning, why do your responses consistently require your head exploding with angry, miserable rants? IDK.....whats up with that?:dunno: I can never remember a single time in my life where I was angry and pissed off when I was winning. Think about it..........:eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

But lets face it..........the funniest stuff of all is when progressives call conservatives "snowflakes". When you read the thread responses, check to see.........which posts appear a bit feminine in their display and which..............dont:deal::funnyface::funnyface:

And your credentials in science are? EP, you are just another ignorant ass, braying his ignorance for all to hear. Virtually every Scientific Society, every National Academy of Science, and every major University in the world have policy statements that AGW is real and a clear and present danger. So, why should we listen to you?

....climate has behaved very close to what the models predicted....

In no other country do we have more precise calculations of climate consequences. They should form the basis for political planning… Temperatures in the wintertime will rise the most… there will be less cold air coming to Central Europe from the east…In the Alps winters will be 2°C warmer already between 2021 and 2050.”

In the northern high latitudes, alternative hypotheses with regards to how warming-related shifts in seasonality influence ecosystem productivity exist. Increased plant growth associated with a longer growing season may enhance ecosystem productivity, but shifts to earlier springs may also negatively influence soil moisture status and productivity during the peak of the growing season. Here, we analyzed nearly three decades (1982–2008) of observational records and derived products, including satellite microwave and optical imagery as well as upscaled ecosystem flux observations, to better understand how shifts in seasonality impact hydrology and productivity in the North American boreal forests. We identified a dominant adverse influence of earlier springs on peak summer forest greenness, actual evapotranspiration and productivity at interannual time scales across the drier western and central sections of the North American boreal forests. In the vast regions where this spring onset mechanism operates, ecosystem productivity gains from earlier springs during the early portion of the growing season are effectively cancelled through corresponding losses in the later portion. Our results also indicate that recent decadal shifts towards earlier springs and associated drying in the midst of the growing season over western North American boreal forests may have contributed to the reported declines in summer productivity and increases in tree mortality and fire activity. With projections of accelerated northern high-latitude warming and associated shifts to earlier springs, persistent soil moisture deficits in peak summer may be an effective mechanism for regional-scale boreal forest dieback through their strong influence on productivity, tree mortality and disturbance dynamics.

Really, EP, maybe you should quote some articles from peer reviewed sources. Yes, the snows come later, and spring comes sooner for most of the world today.

Early Warning Signs of Global Warming: Heat Waves

Worldwide temperature measurements, corrected for instrumental and measurement errors that result from such factors as changing instruments or urbanization, indicate that global mean annual surface temperatures have increased about 0.3 to 0.6°C during the last 150 years (Nicholls et al., 1996). Since 1975, the increase of the 5-year mean temperature is about 0.5°C - a rate that is faster than for any previous period of equal length in the instrumental record (NASA, 1999). Global surface temperatures in 1998 were the warmest since reliable instrumental measurements began, and seven of the ten warmest years occurred in the 1990s. Temperature reconstructions using proxy climate records such as tree rings, fossil pollen, corals and ice cores and borehole measurements indicate that the 20th century warming is unusual relative to the last 400 to 600 years (e.g., Mann et al., 1998, Overpeck et al., 1997; Pollack et al., 1998).

The observed magnitude and patterns of temperature change during the last century correspond well with model predictions when greenhouse gas, solar, and aerosol forcings are considered together (Wigley, 1999). Most of the recent warming has been in winter over the high mid-latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere continents, between 40 and 70° N (Nicholls et al., 1996). There has also been a general trend toward reduced diurnal temperature range, mostly because nights have warmed more than days. Since 1950, minimum temperatures on land have increased about twice as fast as maximum temperatures (Easterling et al., 1997). This may be attributable in part to increasing cloudiness, which reduces daytime warming by reflection of sunlight and retards the nighttime loss of heat (Karl et al., 1997). Increased soil moisture also reduces daytime warming because part of the solar energy is used to evaporate the excess moisture.

Seems people that actually know science have a far different opinion of what is happening than you do, EP. Perhaps you should do something to amend your vast ignorance of the subject. Here is a good place to start;

RUSH: One of the techniques that Alinsky has advocated be used against people you need to destroy is ridicule, because there's no response to it. When you get ridiculed and made fun of, that's the toughest thing to have a response because everybody's laughing at you... In order to execute the strategeries and the policies of Saul Alinsky, you cannot have a soul, you cannot have a conscience, because your sole objective is to destroy people and ruin them.
