In 1975/76 my Uni had a few lecturers who were rabid lefty dickheads who were full on about "Global Cooling" caused by....wait for it....The West especially the US!! One of them went on become Chief scientist in the State; he was a biologist as I recall(wrongly maybe) but his bio says he was a physicist (Maybe I mixed his subject up though I am also sure he taught Science, technology and the Modern Industrial State! His Doctorate was in the PHILOSOPHY of Science, which in his way of teaching had a marxist bent. Of course years later he pushed AGW with a PASSION after the money was flowing to alarmists from the "Green" energy lobby!!
