If this was purely political, they would want it kept as secret as possible. Schiff instead wants the public to see every aspect of the legal case. All of America wants to see our justice system at work, for ourselves, in one o f the most unprecedented trials in History.

Not allowing us to watch for ourselves, allows the media on both the powerful, left and right, put their political spin on it....then you have foreign media doing it too, and A/I doing it, etc etc etc.

As when they cover the trials of the century, there is a single set of cameras, and a single media feed, that all the networks have access to. Which is why the coverage on CNN, and the coverage on Fox News are identicle autio and video.
And as you said, people have a choice, which media they want to watch the same coverage on.
