About ACORN...

Here is another video about ACORN voter registration fraud, by CNN.

Seems like ACORN is getting more attention from media... slowly but surely.

Less than three weeks after the House and Senate voted to cut off ACORN funding, almost $1 million in Homeland Security funding typically earmarked for fire departments has been awarded to ACORN.

Several members of Congress said they were pleased that ACORN will not get the money, which would have come from funding typically earmarked for fire departments across the country, but they questioned why it had been awarded to ACORN in the first place. At least one also still wants official assurance of a permanent withdrawal of the $997,402 fire safety grant.

Officials: ACORN won't get grant

I am having hard time picturing organization like this with hose in their hands. Somehow it's easier to picture them manning the gas can and matches...

Who doesn't know that all of these so-called "Community Organizer" groups are mere Democratic Party front groups? I would think this is pretty clear by now. So let George Soros and the Democrats pay for these groups. Why should all American Tax Payers be forced to pay for these groups?
When the partisn rhetoric ame out during the election, their tax-exempt status whould have been immediately revoked. Yet nothing. Not only that, more money under grants for tax exempt organizations?

Nothing makes any sense.

It doenst make sense if you think everyone is being honest in the government and trying to out the corruption... of course, the truth is just scary sometimes...

He was asking his cousin, a police detective, for advice.

Unless there is a police report, that's all hearsay.

question is: advice for what? dealing with the two? or advice helping them smuggle illegals in.

The man did say he had connections to help them smuggle illegals in. And he propositioned the girl... yeah he's just an innocent bystander here.

ACORN offices will catch on fire before we ever find out.

That turned out to be another lie.

From what I understand the program was to put fire detectors in the homes of low income people which would benefit the people, the neighborhood, and the fire department.

It's great to see a bunch of Republicans hating on the poor.

"Let them burn" is a good slogan for Republicans to use, IMO.

....wonder if the Washington Times will print a correction? Will the right demand the truth?

Seems like the righwing media get a pass on all kinds of lies these days.

Fire detectors would most likely finish in the trash container and batteries in local 7/11 store.

Considering the link YOU posted does not say this anywhere in the article, I'd like to know where you got your "understanding" from. IMO, money going to FIRE DEPARTMENTS far out weighs money going for something simply titled "fire safety".

Didn't Clinton have a program for distributing Air conditioners for the poor? Didn't they start showing up in the porn shops? Probably a direct result of seeing the change in the next utility bill. Everything has consequence, both intended and unintended.

My first question is at what cost?

ACORN has no hiring standards. They are too incompetent. We cannot afford the luxury. Ravi... stop picking on the Catholic Church or I'm going to tell Jesus on you. Funny how ACORN is so elaborate in splintering it's foundation, which has so effectively masked It's true size and threat. The one thing they are not incompetent at, infecting a whole society. March of Comrade... Victory is near!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Wake up Ravi!!!!
