There is no ID required to vote. No ID required to register. Therefore it doesn't matter if the DMV is registering them or not. They go to the website and can register in less than 30 seconds.

That is the point, imbecile.

Here is the registration information:
To register to vote you must complete a brief voter registration application on paper or online. When you register online, the system will search the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) database for your California driver license or identification card number, date of birth, and last four digits of your social security number. If your information is found and you authorize elections officials' use of your DMV signature, an electronic image of your DMV signature will be added to your voter registration application after you click "submit" at the end of the online application. What can I report? You are not allowed to ask for ID. If their address matches the name on the registration roll, they get a ballot. PERIOD.

Democrats have successfully registered so many illegals that they now have super majorities in the state. Then they passed the "jungle primary" law, so most of the time there isn't even a Republican on the ballot.

It is illegal to ask for ID when they register, and illegal to ask for ID when they vote. What could go wrong?
